  • GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!!!!!!!!!

"We enjoyed our stay very much at the Elf School Home. It was interesting staying in a place with so much history. The pontoon was a great extra. We enjoyed riding around on the lake. Also, enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings and evenings. It was so nice and quiet. This home is very large, clean, and has everything you would need for a home away from home. Mr. Hood is very kind and easy to deal with. We enjoyed meeting him."

  • Lovely stay at Bella Vista!

"Our stay at this beautiful home was just perfect. We enjoyed the views, which differed each day. We enjoyed hiking, as well as visiting numerous interesting stops in the region. Above all, we enjoyed the peace of mind that was possible simply because we had rented from excellent owners. Monica and Ed provided everything we would need. Their care for their home transcended to us, the tenants and that meant lots. We highly recommend this home and look forward to returning in the near future."

  • Fabulous Place to Stay

"We had the pleasure to stay here over the Christmas holidays. The Home was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had an abundance of Feng Shui. It felt like a home filled with love versus a sterile place to hang your clothes for a week. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They wanted us to have an enjoyable time and recommended various adventures in the area. The views of the surrounding mountains were exceptional. I will stay here again the next time I am in the area."

  • We've Found Our New Happy Place!!

"Our stay at Rushing Waters was more than we could have hoped for. It was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and the location was absolutely breathtaking. The area had so much to offer and is also so close to so many places. In addition to exploring Hayesville we went to Gatlinburg and Dollywood in Tennessee, Black Rock Mountain State Park in Georgia, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Asheville, North Carolina. All close enough for day trips. I'm sure every season is beautiful but I don't think anything can beat seeing those places in the fall. Everything was as great as Annie said it would be. Our only regret was not spending more time in the cabin!! Next time though, as this was surely only our FIRST trip to Rushing Waters!!"
