"We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful place. Many times on VRBO the properties don't always turn out like the image in your head based on the pictures and text on the Internet, but this one was no disappointment. The panoramic view of the mountains and lake Chatuge was awesome and ever changing. The interior is tastefully decorated and the house in general has everything you could need. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a restful, peaceful, inspiring and very comfortable getaway. Additionally the owners are very accomodating and a pleasure to work with."

  • Another wonderful visit with many more memories made again this year!

"This was our second visit- last year was out first. The cabin is large enough to fit our whole crew! Grandpa, grandma, three familes and their kids! Let me start off by saying my five year old could not wait to get back to the cabin to see his memories from our last summer visit! We didn't know how we would beat last summers adventures, but we did! As soon as we arrived the kids had to take a walk in the stream just below the cabin. We started our vacation off with a cookout on the deck overlooking the stream. The next day we went tubbing- peaceful and fun! The following day we rented a pontoon boat a couple of miles from the cabin on Lake Chatuge- floated on tubes with beautiful mountains in the background. Being from Florida it was a nice change- No gators or sharks to worry about! Some of our other adventures included fires creek (free park, barbq grills, waterfall and a fun stream to tube down), fishing at Andy's trout farm followed by a fish fry, ride on the scenic Blue Ridge railway and visiting Eagle Fork winery literally down the road for a tasting and tour. The cabin is located central to visit Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee (via Blue Ridge Railway). We made many new memories this summer- ones we and our children will always remember. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin!"

  • Wonderful weekend!

"The view was incredible and the home was very well stocked - even pancake mix and syrup in the pantry! There is plenty to do nearby as well, including hiking, fishing, whitewater rafting (at Ocoee, TN!) and lovely scenic drives. Will definitely recommend this house to my friends and family."

  • Amazing Vacation Home

"We could not have asked for a better vacation home! Everyone in our party loved this cabin - it was beautifully decorated yet very homey and comfortable. We had plenty of room to spread out (with 3 teenage boys) and everyone enjoyed the view, the firepit and the hot tub! Doug was incredibly accomodating and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We all agreed that when (not if) we return to western NC we would stay at this home again!"
