"This place was everything it describes & more. It was a beautiful, sturdy built home with great spaces. Even though we just had the two of us & our doggie, you could easily get the entire extended family here to stay for a while. There are many spaces people could spread out & not be on top of each other. The Kitchen is large, with 2 great ovens, large fridge, and tastefully decorated throughout the home. The master bed was very comfy! We loved it here, it was so quiet & relaxing! This would be a great place to have a family reunion. Close to Lake Chatuge, Hiwassee River, creeks, etc! The only thing we were disappointed with is that it listed a Big Green Egg for outdoor grilling, and we arrived ready to smoke some meat. There is no big green egg, it was replaced with a medium sized kettle type round charcoal grill, so we were bummed about that, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay immensely! The owners are very quick to repsond and so kind, they have built a very sturdy home, and thought about everything! Thank you again for sharing your mountain retreat with us!"

"Our stay at Rushing Waters was more than we could have hoped for. It was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and the location was absolutely breathtaking. The area had so much to offer and is also so close to so many places. In addition to exploring Hayesville we went to Gatlinburg and Dollywood in Tennessee, Black Rock Mountain State Park in Georgia, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Asheville, North Carolina. All close enough for day trips. I'm sure every season is beautiful but I don't think anything can beat seeing those places in the fall. Everything was as great as Annie said it would be. Our only regret was not spending more time in the cabin!! Next time though, as this was surely only our FIRST trip to Rushing Waters!!"

"We met our in-laws in the mountains for a nice quite Valentine's weekend and this place was just perfect and a great value. The property had a breathtaking view, and the uniqueness of the farmhouse was obviously decorated with good taste and love. To top it off, the bit of snow we travelled through on our way home made the weekend magical. The owner was more than accommodating throughout the trip. My father-in-law was particularly fond of that 'feeling of home' that he felt during our stay. We travel to the mountains quite often and this was a favorite for him. We enjoyed your home Jim, and your hospitality. Thank you!"

"It can be said that my kids (and sometimes my husband and myself) are additcted to technology. I think that's why this weekend is so special to me. For two days, no one touched their phones, computers, etc, and we enjoyed each other!
The cabin is clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The property is gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice. There is absolutely no cell service, and no wi fi, so be prepared for that and give anyone that might need you while your gone the cabin number before you leave. Tracy is very quick to respond to any questions, and very helpful. We found the property easily with GPS. The pond toys were great. We bought 4 of the river run tubes when we got home because we liked them so much. The pond was clear and cold. You can't tell from the pictures, but it was pristine really. We loved the hammock and the sky chair and the grates provided to cook over the campfire. Saturday morning, we ventured into Hayesville and had a great breakfast at Maria's Hayesville Family Restaurant. Everyone was so friendly. We got groceries at the ingles in Hayesville and headed back to the cabin. We loved lunch and dinner on the screened porch (with the pretty lights and the fan! We loved it!) and the kids played and explored the creek. We kayaked, and floated and then ended our day around the campfire for hotdogs and smores. After dark, we played yahtzee as a family. I know for sure my kids made memories they won't forget, and that is a blessing to me. Thanks, Tracy and Gary, for the hospitality."
