"I have held off writing a review of this lovely "cabin" solely because I want to rent it all the time or every chance I get. I drive 9 hours regularly to spend time here, it is the perfect mountain getaway. The owner is accessible, friendly and punctual, the house is clean and decorated with just enough cabin kitsch and decorator colors to make it feel like a real home within a cabin. It is close to my favorite "easy' hike, maybe a mile or two down the road, truly a hike for everyone to enjoy."

  • Hope To Go Back Soon - Great location for Fall, Spring or Summer

"This is an awesome jewel on Lake Glenville. The home is a very short easy drive west from Cashiers (<10 minutes). We've stayed in the Cashiers/Highlands area but were not familiar with the lake a few miles away. The views from the home & decks are beautiful. This would be a wonderful place to bring a large family for a week or month in the summer to escape the heat from GA or FL. It was just two of us this time (no kids - YES!) and the home was perfect for that too, we loved the large real wood fireplace. The home seems new or completely renovated recently with high end appliances, very comfortable bedding, and extremely clean/well maintained. The owners were pleasant and quick to respond to inquiries which is always a plus. I'd recommend this home in a heartbeat. We hope to go back soon! We didn't want to leave! C & E Georgia"

  • Relaxing Week at the Lake!

"Spent one of our most relaxing weeks ever at this warm and cozy lakefront home. Both my husband and myself lead very busy lives and really needed this week to relax but also have a 10 yr old son and teenage daughter so always hard to find something for the whole family - well this is it!! The kids had the best vacation ever! Spent everyday on the lake - kayaking to island, and met lots of friends on the lake. Enjoyed days of hiking and the fabulous waterfalls. Mike and Mark were wonderful hosts - enjoyed the sunset cruise which was a blast!! Great cabin, very warm and comfortable. kitchen updated, pets were welcomed . We really didn't use downstairs except for the laundry. When I had any concerns or questions Mike was always available and responded immediately. I can't say enough about how great the experience was and how beautiful the lake is. My kids are planning another vacation already to return. Hope we see Mike, Mark and Julie when they come to Siesta next year!"
