"Our family has just spent a wonderful week at Katie Camp. We were a group of 10, grandparents, parents and 3 small children. The house is well suited for large groups with plenty of room to gather as a whole but areas for privacy when wanted. We particularly loved the large upstairs porch which was a safe place for adults to relax and toddlers to play. The house is extremely well equipped, from kitchen equipment to beach towels! It's the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in.
The setting and views are magnificent. Our family was literally "at camp". Fishing, sailing, swimming, kayaking, biking and sitting lakeside sipping adult beverages. We were a bit concerned that there was no air conditioning but it was never a problem, as it was cool and comfortable.
Our ONLY suggestion is that we would have liked a little more indoor lighting in the entry, dining room and kitchen, where we spent a lot of time. However, that certainly didn't dampen our enthusiasm for Katie Camp and our hope for a return visit. It was a perfect family vacation destination!!"

"We stayed at Treetop with our four sons and their families to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday. We usually have gone to the beach for our annual family vacations, but decided to try something different this year. The week was perfect in every way. Joe was a wonderful host, very responsive to all of our needs and requests. We enjoyed some of the wonderful amenities of Trillium - a lovely pool, a catch and release pond, clay tennis courts, tennis clinic, beautiful child-friendly hiking trails which took us past a waterfall, over bridges, and down to the beautiful lake. Our daughter-in-law swam every morning in the lake which was warmer than we expected for the lake with the highest elevation east of the Mississippi. We grilled out on the deck and spent wonderful evenings playing charades and roasting s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. One day, we rented a tri-toon and took the little ones tubing and the pre-teens for their first water-skiing experience. We enjoyed Cornucopia for lunch and the Orchard for dinner. The views were breath-taking, the weather ideal, and everyone we met very friendly. It was hard to come home..... We will definitely come back!"

"My family and I have been going to Lake Glenville for vacation for the past 15 years. We have stayed at several lakeside homes but this home is by far the best home we have stayed. Most homes require a very long walk down to the lake, but it could not be any easier here. The house is on a very gentle slope making it very easy to get to the waters edge. There is no thru traffic since it is located in a gated community with only a few homes. We have enjoyed it so much, we have returned to this particular house for the past 8 years. Would highly recommend."

"We were able to enjoy the cabin with 4 adults and 3 children, ranging from 10-15yrs old. It was comfortable in the daytime, even without AC. The waterfall being so close to the cabin made it perfect for sleeping with the windows open, and even got pretty cold in the house at night. There are fireflies at night, and hummingbirds, finches, and too many other birds to list to watch during the day. There is a fire pit right down on the stream, stocked with plenty of seasoned wood to burn. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and the only issue we had was taken care of within 24 hours, even on the July 4th weekend. It's an older place that has been remodeled, and still has some work to be done, but our group wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. There isn't any cell service, but there is wifi, and a land line that we were able to use. Thanks for the opportunity to stay in your home......we really enjoyed it."
