"We had a fantastic visit in this beautiful mountains and lake view home. Very beautiful and quiet surroundings and lots of nature to love!"

"The name of this cabin was "Hooked by the View", and you couldn't come up with a more accurate name. The house is set on a sparsely populated (read quiet and not busy) lake, nestled into the mountains of western North Carolina. We felt like we had the lake almost entirely to ourselves, even on the weekends. Great house that is well supplied with the things you need for an entertaining time. Great dock with kayaks and canoes, and is set in a small cove that is perfect for swimming. We rented a boat for the week from a local marina, and tied the boat up right at the house. Had a fantastic time tubing, exploring the lake, and fishing. The lake is beautiful, but remote. Make sure you check your travel times if there are area attractions that you want to visit. Highly recommended."

"Don't hesitate in choosing this home for your vacation! We came over for 9 nights from the UK and having rented in the USA via VRBO/homeaway for the last 10+ years, I can wholeheartedly say that this house is exactly as advertised, in fact it's better! The view once you walk through the front door is outstanding and the dock area too is just idyllic. We only had a regular hire car, not 4wd and it was fine. It is pretty remote but there is a big grocery shop in Andrews, as well as a good coffee store. We rafted and zipped at the Nantahala outdoor centre, again not too far away. The lake itself was quiet and so clear and warm for swimming. The kayaks and canoe were perfect for heading over to the little island with the rope swing - perfect for our teenage sons! As was the games room with pool table - plenty of room for us all to spread out. The hummingbirds that visited the feeder on the deck were also a real treat. Go ahead - you won't be disappointed."
