  • Awesome Mountain Lake Getaway

"Just as the other reviewers state: Long winding drive, no cell phone service (we actually could get one bar signal at the dock), lots of steps to lake - but it was/is exactly as described: A wonderfully relaxing retreat! Plenty of room for the three adults and five kids. Highly recommend this house to un-plug, unwind, and relax."

  • Fall in love with Lake Nantahala!

"What a wonderful experience we had at Jerry and Lisa's beautiful home. We could not have chosen a better location and people to deal with. Lake Nantahala is beautiful, peaceful and pristine. The view from this home is one of the best, it's like opening heaven's gate when you walk out of the doors onto the deck, absolutely beautiful and take in the view for the first time. This house has everything, and I mean everything we needed! Quality items throughout the house for our use, a fully stocked kitchen with high end items, hot tub and beautiful dock with row boat. We rented a boat for our stay at the marina. Jerry and Lisa have water skis and tubing equipment there for a full day of fun! We roasted marshmallows and popped popcorn on the lower deck one evening over the fire in the outdoor fireplace. It was amazing! We would definitely book here again, our experience all around was the best!! Great for families with children or for a family get together. Everyone will be comfortable. Thanks again Jerry and Lisa for sharing your home with us!"

  • Misty Laurel Chalet

"This is an excellent home and a superb value. The home is clean, well maintained and well supplied. We spent a week with our family of six adults and four children and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed hiking to waterfalls, zip lining, fishing, rafting the Nantahala, and tubing the Oconoluftee, and just relaxing on the deck with a beautiful view. We also enjoyed some of the board games provided. The fishing day with Dale Raxter was a highlight. The owner was very helpful to us in planning our events, and describing the home. We recommend this property to anyone wanting to vacation in a beautiful area with nearly unlimited activities for all ages."

  • Beautiful and Relaxing

"My family and I went up to Nantahala the week before the fourth and it was wonderful! This house had plenty of rooms and beds for us all! We were all rested for the lake every morning. The house had space for cooking, sitting, and playing. It was all clean and organized. This helped us enjoy our time on the lake so much more! The two docks outside were great for us and the kids! We played in the lake all week! Thank you to the owners for sharing their house with us! We will definitely be returning for another trip!"
