"This is a high-end property, spacious, beautifully decorated and appointed. It's location is excellent, one-hour from Spartanburg/Greenville. It is a short drive to Hendersonville, Flat Rock and Saluda which have great restaurants, arts and craft shops, farmers markets. other nearby attractions include hiking and kayaking. The lake is small but completely private and was not super busy. The property had a boathouse with a large dock suitable to sunbathe or fish from. There is also a option to rent a ski boat. There were kayaks, fishing poles, and plenty of life vests so we did not need to take much with us. Our family had a wonderful time. The owners are gracious and helpful!"

"We did not have a long stay here but it was perfect! Great views, cozy cottage, highly recommend! Thanks so much for for the advice on restaurants and allowing us to rent your beautiful cottage. Caught some fish, enjoyed the sounds of nature, and had a truly wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!"

"Get house for our family. Comfortable, well stocked and kids loved the basement level. House very open and spacious. Utilized the fire pit area. Lake was beautiful and loved all the water activities available. Visited the sliding rock, whispering falls and the gem mine, all enjoyed those adventures. Areas to consider for improvement for future visitors are: no smoke detectors functioning in house, kayaking equipment needs attention-plug missing in large kayak, grills need cleaned and maintained, promise of Biltmore tickets with rental not delivered-presented with a fiasco at will call ticket center and had to purchase tickets."

"When I first started looking for properties for my family for my sister's wedding I had a list of various family needs... Few places met all the needs & none compared to this incredible home. This was the perfect house! Additionally, homeowner was great to work with & very responsive to our needs.
My only regret is that I didn't have more time to enjoy the home, it is truly a magical place that you'll never want to leave! The river & dock were great for the afternoons & we added a rope swing for others to enjoy. The sleeping porch was the biggest hit providing lots of space to lounge & enjoy the treetops both day & night.
The quaint town of Saluda isn't far away if you do actually leave the house & has great cafes, shops, & the oldest grocery store in NC. Make sure you pick up some of their sage sausage!
This home is truly a treasure, so search no more!"
