  • Best time away EVER!!

"I can't say enough! To start- dealing with Jim is a pleasure! Thank you! You made it so easy! The cabin is perfection in itself! A heaven of its own.wonderfully rustic and cozy. Has everything you need! The waterfall running outside all the time made for some of the best sleeping nights we ever had. We had a hard time facing the time to return home! But we did get to town / Henderson / Asheville & MAggie Valley for some fun stuff for the 2 13 ur olds and had a blast! Will definitely be back SOON!"

  • We've Found Our New Happy Place!!

"Our stay at Rushing Waters was more than we could have hoped for. It was clean and comfortable, stocked with everything we needed and the location was absolutely breathtaking. The area had so much to offer and is also so close to so many places. In addition to exploring Hayesville we went to Gatlinburg and Dollywood in Tennessee, Black Rock Mountain State Park in Georgia, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Asheville, North Carolina. All close enough for day trips. I'm sure every season is beautiful but I don't think anything can beat seeing those places in the fall. Everything was as great as Annie said it would be. Our only regret was not spending more time in the cabin!! Next time though, as this was surely only our FIRST trip to Rushing Waters!!"

  • Terrific

"My family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The owners are fantastic and the detail they have put into the home will be obvious from the moment you arrive. The home is impeccable- stocked with everything you can imagine and then some. The views from the deck make you never want to leave. So much to do in and around Waynesville-- the Parkway is only an exit away which provides great hiking, picnicking and a fun day trip to Slippery Rock. Asheville is a quick 25 minute drive if you want to tour the Biltmore Estate or have a special dinner at the Grove Park Inn. However, plan you days accordingly because the home itself offers plenty!"

  • Thanksgiving getaway

"First of all, Brad and Ginger were wonderful "hosts/owners" and were communicative and responsive right from the start. Ginger even baked delicious chocolate cookies and had them ready for our arrival - how great is that? :-) They both met us a little after we arrived and walked us through a few things around the cabin; they also were able to show us some trails on a map they provided that were close by. About the cabin: The cabin itself is tucked away and about 25-30 min from the nearest town with grocery store, etc. and we didn't have cell service (they do have Wifi at the cabin, so you're not completely out of touch) but that definitely adds to the charm of being able to "unplug" and get away. We were able to take our kids to the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest for a little trail adventure and there are heaps of other interesting trails nearby. It's a great area for being outdoors. The kitchen has all the amenities that you need for cooking a big meal, the beds were very comfy and we loved using the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit. We would recommend this cabin to others. (Just be aware that you will have to lug your trash with you when you leave.) Brad and Ginger are lovely and their cabin is a great spot to unwind and take it easy!"
