"We had a group of (22) women who came for our annual fall ladies' retreat. We typically go to different locations each year. The road to get to the house was very scary to travel in a 15 passenger bus, but we made it up with lots of prayer. That's the price you pay for the most gorgeous view I have ever had from the house itself. It was magnificent! Set the stage beautifully to worship the God who created it!
It was very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was great, stocked with a huge refrigerator, pots, pans, bowls, platters, paper towels, dish soap and much more. We cooked meals each day and it was set up perfectly to serve and eat with plenty of room. They even provided a small amount of wood to build a fire in the fire pit! Perfect. Rachel was quick to answer every question I had from making the reservation to arriving.
Our ladies loved this place, and we may have to come back to this spot! Highly recommended by me! Thanks so much!"

"This property is exceptionally well-maintained and clean. It is very spacious for a 2-bedroom, 2-bath house with plenty of room. The front patio has a view of the Lake Junaluska golf course; the Lake's pool, walking trail, small-boat rentals (kayaks, canoes, paddleboards) and the lake itself are about 1/2 mile away; we went walking around the scenic trail every night. It's very peaceful and certainly safe. The owners are very responsive. The home is near the Smokey Mountain Expressway which can take you to I-40 for an easy drive to the Biltmore House, Pigeon Forge or other destinations although there is plenty to do immediately around the house's location. We really enjoyed this setting and plan to return."

"Beautiful area with plenty to see and do, very nice little town of Highlands, and yet not overly busy and crowded (as were Bar Harbor and Acadia when I visited Maine last year). The house is lovely in design and setting. It felt very much off the beaten path, but was not too isolated. The owners have thought of every creature comfort one could wish; they are also extremely helpful, as when I had to change my original reserved dates. I was with my teenage son looking for quiet and relaxation, but it would also be a great place for a couple or fun for a larger group of people."

"We loved staying in this beautiful cabin. It is close to downtown Highlands. While there, we also visited Cashiers, Franklin, Bryson City and Fontana Dam. The waterfalls in Highlands are breathtaking! We enjoyed watching the squirrels on the deck each morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in an exceptionally nice, clean cabin in a great location."
