  • Couldn't Be A Better Place!

"PERFECTION...from the moment we contacted the owner until the moment we had to depart. We originally picked this place for its location, not a difficult road or steep driveway to maneuver. This beautifully decorated cottage was perfectly located for our day trips to the Falls, Cherokee, Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate and the many other sights. The nights were peaceful and relaxing.."chilling and grilling". The hot tub helped to soothe our achy bodies from the days hikes. We're already planning our next trip back to Maggie's Cottage. Thank you for everything Sarah!"

  • Great Property!

"Our family of 6 stayed for 8 days in March 2015. The owners were very helpful in planning our trip. We felt immediately at home with all the thoughtful appointments the owners have made: Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and very clean. The location is very close to highway 19 which gives you easy access to both the Smokey Mountains and Blue Ridge Parkway. We had a wonderful time exploring the numerous trails and waterfalls, and seeing animals such as elk and wild turkeys in their natural habitat. Definitely recommend this house as a place to stay."

  • What you see in the pictures is what you get

"We stayed here with my son and two friends and it is truly a beautiful property. Very clean and a well stocked kitchen it has beautiful views from both the upper and lower balcony. Our interaction with the owners was friendly and very professional and our deposit was quickly returned. It is a little bit confusing and intimidating on the drive up for the first few times but you get comfortable with it after a few trips. We are from Miami so mountain driving is somewhat unnerving even on wide roads. Our only suggestion is a new can opener as we struggled with the one provided. If that's the biggest problem you have on a vacation then you stayed in a very good place. We recommend this property to friends and we hope to return another time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!"

  • A Delightful Mountain Getaway

"Our family had a lovely time at this log cabin. The bedrooms on the master and upstairs are enormous and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of space. Nice touch having a high chair available for young ones, as we traveled with our one year old granddaughter. The mountain driveway was very steep and if snowed or iced up you would have a real challenge getting up or down. Kitchen needs a bit of updating. As we endured some rain on the trip the downstairs game room was a nice relief. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We had six adults and one child and were comfortable. Location is close to the ski area with shops, a grocery store, and beautiful catholic church within driving distance. Be careful if you drive a luxury or small car, as you are required to cart off all of your trash upon checkout and bring it to a trash center a few miles away. This could be problematic if you weren't expecting to do this. Also, unlike other places that we rent, you are not able to just run the dishwasher upon leaving...note on the fridge said that dishwasher must be emptied out before leaving. Overall, a delightful mountain getaway."
