  • Wonderful week of day trips

"The cabin was very comfortable for our group of 6, with a bedroom and bathroom on each of the 3 floors. We especially loved the hot tub, which is tucked off to the side of the cabin out of view of any neighbors, and the rocking chairs on the large porch. We enjoyed day trips to Cherokee, Mingo Falls (our favorite), Soco Falls, and the Catalochee Valley to watch the resident elk. The cabin is a 30-second drive from the main strip, so access to everything was easy."

  • Beautiful Mountain Cabin!!!

"We had the best time at the gorgeous cabin! It was immaculately clean, awesome décor and very well stocked with all the amenities of home. The beds were very comfortable and with three bathrooms, no one was waiting to get a shower, etc. The view from the porch was one of my favorite things. Its is stunning all day long, but we would sit and have coffee in the mornings and watch the sun come up in the valley of the mountains. The price was extremely reasonable and we will definitely come back...Highly recommend..."

  • Amazing!!!!

"Many times it is the little things that make all the difference and this place has so many of those: enough plates, silverware, towels, and linens to actually accommodate the number of people for which the location is rated. Very clean and the property managers showed us around upon arrival and showed us how to work everything. Owners that called to see how things were going and were super responsive right from the beginning. Now for the big things: a huge living room, kitchen and dining room in which the family could enjoy together; a peaceful private setting; huge bedrooms and comfortable bathrooms; the bar/game room such a welcome addition; and so very close to town. But by far the best - this place has so many windows/decks from which to enjoy the beautiful views. My husband and I enjoyed the place by ourselves for a few days and then when the remaining family members got here, we didn't feel anymore closed in than just the two of us. This place is just simply amazing!"

  • Perfect!

"My family and I could not ask for a better "mini- vacation" to see snow and enjoy the mountains of Tennessee. And we could not ask for a more perfect place to stay than Bear Den. It had all the comforts of home and more. The place was so clean and cozy that we felt right at home the moment we opened the door. It had all the little details other places usually miss like detailed instructions on how to use the fireplace, hot tub and TV's for us technically challenged individuals. And let me talk about customer service! The owner was exceptional. He knew it had snowed the night before our arrival and gave us the option to cancel if needed although our goal was to see snow so that was not an option for us. He then had the driveway, porch and hot tub cleared of snow before our arrival and was only a quick text or phone call away if we needed anything. After each day of playing in the snow, exploring the smokey mountains and skiing it was such a pleasure to come back to the warmth and charm of Bear Den. Thank you for the great memories!"
