  • A Delightful Mountain Getaway

"Our family had a lovely time at this log cabin. The bedrooms on the master and upstairs are enormous and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of space. Nice touch having a high chair available for young ones, as we traveled with our one year old granddaughter. The mountain driveway was very steep and if snowed or iced up you would have a real challenge getting up or down. Kitchen needs a bit of updating. As we endured some rain on the trip the downstairs game room was a nice relief. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. We had six adults and one child and were comfortable. Location is close to the ski area with shops, a grocery store, and beautiful catholic church within driving distance. Be careful if you drive a luxury or small car, as you are required to cart off all of your trash upon checkout and bring it to a trash center a few miles away. This could be problematic if you weren't expecting to do this. Also, unlike other places that we rent, you are not able to just run the dishwasher upon leaving...note on the fridge said that dishwasher must be emptied out before leaving. Overall, a delightful mountain getaway."

  • Perfect for a small family

"We had a marvelous time at Our Mountain Getaway! Close to everything that we wanted to see (we highly recommend the Eco-Tour!) and do, but cozy and homey enough that on the few days that we weren't on the go we were comfortable and lazy. The view is lovely! Best of all, we were able to bring our dog, who had a marvelous time as well! This home was perfect for a Mom, 2 pre-teens, and a large dog. Thanks, Tammy, for making it available to us. (Arrival date is wrong...program error) One word of caution: arrive during the day, as the driveway is really steep, even for mountain standards. Tackling it for the first time at night might be a bit hairy."

  • The Malone family

"I could not have had a better experience. From the time I first talked with the owners to the day we checked out it was flawless. The answered every question before i could ask. The house was spotless and provided everything we could have imagined. I will be returning again without any doubt. May try the fall next time."

  • 60th Birthday Bash

"If you are looking for peaceful, well appointed home to have a vacation look no further. We hosted my husbands surprise birthday party at Waverly Lodge . Folks came from around the country and spent a perfect Memorial Day Weekend at this stunning home. The house easily accommodated the many people of different ages. The younger folk hung out downstairs while the adults spent time in the generous kitchen and living room. The hot tub and fire pit were great after a day of mountain biking and hiking. The home is much more beautiful than the photos show. Kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy . Memories for a lifetime."
