  • Wooded Retreat

"We loved the chance to step away from city living into a secluded forest cabin for a week. Our young kids had a blast running around the property watching salamanders and wading in creeks. The screened-in porch was perfect for reading a novel while sipping coffee or enjoying an evening glass of wine after a day hiking the AT. While the road to the house suggests a rustic adventure, the cabin itself was well appointed and in great shape. The owner couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. If you're looking for a bustling cultural scene, you'll need to be closer to Asheville. But if you want to slow down the pace of modern life and repair yourself with some nature and solitude, you'd be hard pressed to find a better option."

  • Beyond Thrilled with this Gorgeous Home!

"My family and I have returned from a wonderful get-away to Asheville - and Richard's Home was the highlight! Every need was anticipated in how the home was furnished and supplied. We had the pleasure of briefly meeting Richard, the Homeowner - and he was extremely welcoming and helpful. The Sonos Music System is terrific and easy to use. The Home itself is sleek and gorgeous with wonderful views. We actually chose to stay in one night just to enjoy the large deck - and lovely view. We would love to return and stay here again!"

"As two couples, we enjoyed the cabin while attending a family wedding nearby. It was perfect. All of the overwhelmingly positive reviews are accurate. The house is spotless, well appointed, and unbelievably comfortable. I found myself wishing I could just stay at the cabin and read a good book in the great lazyboy with the perfect lamp, or on the quiet, serene front porch swing, or down at the cool creekside picnic area! You will wish you had a longer stay!"
