"This was an amazing place to stay. All the amenities of home were provided. There is enough area around to hike/walk and the creek across the property is very relaxing to listen to or have a picnic nearby. The stars at night were an amazing sight. There are many things to do in the area, mountains, hikes, gem mining, rafting, and Indian artifacts were all wonderful to experience.
I would recommend this to anyone."

"Debbie and Roy have a great place to escape, relax and re-energize! We stayed in this cozy little cabin for a 5 day time period in July. You cannot ask for better hosts. They come down to check on you and make sure all is good but are not intrusive at all. They can recommend places to go, things to see or do, places to eat and even bring by extra firewood to keep you enjoying the outdoors after dark. We brought our bike and rode many of the great roads in the area. There is no cell signal but we were working with Roy on the WIFI when we left and were able to access it with a laptop from the outside picnic table and right by the main door. This is a great place to get away from it all and really relax and enjoy this beautiful section of North Carolina. The cabin is cozy and works well for a couple. Couldn't ask for a better vacation getaway."

"Our family of 6 rented the cabin for a long weekend. It was easy to find, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen is nicely outfitted; you may want to bring ice (no ice maker). Hot tub was great; wonderful wrap-around porch with swing and rocking chairs - we ate breakfast outside each day. Only about 20 minutes from the NOC or (other direction) Andrews (grocery store). Would return if in area again."
