"My husband 2 toddlers and decided to go to the mountainstore and after looking for a while we found this place. We stayed for a week and completely enjoyed every moment. There is so much to do on the property from hiking to just sitting on the big porch looking out athe the beautiful land and spectacular view of the mountains. It was quiet and private. Town was 15 minutes away but going up or down the mountain was amazing, beautiful vista's and waterfalls along the way. An amazing place... worth every penny and then some!"

"We just returned from a 10 day visit to Cashiers North Carolina. We have been going to Cashiers for the past 10 years every summer and always stay in Trillium. This house is hands down the best house we have ever stayed in on our visits. As others have stated the photographs truly do not do it justice. The house is absolutely gorgeous, furnished very well and has been well maintained. Full views of the mountain in the distance. The house is in the upper portion of Trillium which we always prefer as it is the most quiet and the least crowded.
There is a very large backyard, which made it a great area for the kids to play. Most of the houses in Trillium have no yard at all , not only was this a backyard, but is a very large one and a flat plane ,We were able to play bocce ball, throw the football, play hide and seek around the house and let the kids run around and burn off some steam.
The owner is an absolute pleasure to work with. Everything was smooth and seamless from booking of the vacation to checking in and checking out. It is not often, one finds a home for rent that is so well maintained and so well stocked. We ate almost all of her meals in the house and lacks for nothing as far as a kitchen supplies.
Cellphone reception was excellent, satellite TV occupied us while relaxing and the wifi allowed us TV get a little work done while we were away.
All in all, I cannot say enough great things about this property we will absolutely be back in the future."

"My family and I spent 3 days relaxing and enjoying this lovely home and the early fall foliage. The cabin was clean and beds were very comfortable. We had only 2 concerns. One was that the driveway was impassable. It is steep and the gravel/sand were very loose and we were not able to get my Toyota Camry to the top. A neighbor told us that this is a common problem and that many guests have actually gotten stuck. I would absolutely NOT arrive for the first time in the dark. The other negative was that the kitchen was beautiful but not adequately stocked in terms of cookware. There was no regular fry pan and many of the pots were warped, making cooking on a smooth top stove rather difficult. Given the remote location of the cabin, I can't imagine guests making the trek out to eat. A better equipped kitchen would have been appreciated. My adult children would have appreciated internet connection but I was fine being "unplugged"!! This is a perfect place to get away and soak up the beauty of the area!! We had a marvelous time!!"
