"Believe every word you read in the reviews! Our party had a delightful time at Everview in the lovely Waynesville area. We attend a conference every year at Lake Junaluska, so we decided to rent a home instead of staying on sight. I'm so glad we did! First, the home is spotless! The housekeeper does such a spectacular job. Every amenity you can think of is available. One gentleman in our group drinks decaf coffee. We found a small coffee maker for that purpose. The large coffee maker served the remainder of our group. We prepared dinner two nights of our stay. The kitchen is very well appointed and we found all we needed. There is a grill on the back porch. The beds are very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. The bathrooms are spacious and very thoughtfully furnished. The view is magnificent from all angles of the house. The gated neighborhood is populated with gorgeous homes. We were very sad to leave and return to normal life! Marilyn is excellent with the communication end of things. She's very attentive to any questions or problems. We've already reserved the home for next year!"Guest: Cindy C. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
"This vacation home is fabulous! We felt like we had stopped into visit a friend, not a rental property. The house was spotlessly clean and stocked with everything!!! We drank our morning coffee on the porch and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains. It is secluded, quiet, and just perfect for a get-away"Guest: Nancy Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 18, 2014View listing
"What a great location! This home is very close to downtown, the river arts district, Biltmore House, and several breweries. There are also many cute restaurants less than a mile away. We had five women staying in this house and it was plenty of room. The home was very neat and clean, and had everything we needed to cook in! The mattresses where very comfortable and new! The owner lives below the house, but you would never know it. She was very accommodating and friendly. We had to call her the first night because we misplaced our key, she had us another one asap! This place is a bargain for the money! Can't wait to visit again:)"Guest: Tammy W. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 10, 2014View listing
"We stayed for four days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The mountain views are spectacular, and the house is very tastefully decorated with local antiques and is exceptionally well-equipped. The spacious kitchen was equipped with high-quality kitchen ware from Williams-Sonoma. We didn't need to bring anything other than food and drink. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all large, linens and towels were new and high quality, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The gated neighborhood is totally quiet, as we heard nothing but birds chirping during our stay. You can't even see any other houses in the neighborhood from the house, which gives you the feel as if you are the only person on the mountain. We did have rainy weather during our stay, as we were "in the clouds" for a couple of days. But it was amazing to watch how the distant mountain scenery was in constant change as the clouds moved through. At times, it looked like we were flying just above the clouds with the mountains poking through, and at other times we were in the clouds. Bottom line: don't let inclement weather deter you from a stay. The house is very well located; maybe a five minute drive to downtown Cashiers. Ingles grocery store is maybe three minutes away. We were also surprised at the wildlife we observed in the neighborhood, as we spotted lots of wild turkey, deer, and a mama black bear with three cubs! We can't wait to rent the house again! Thank you for a great time!"Guest: Chalker Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 24, 2014View listing
