  • WOW!

"The house was even better than advertised. The proximity of the house to the tailgate market and to town (and to Green River Barbecue), and yet its private setting, created a most enjoyable and relaxing visit for us. We had some rain, but we simply spent that time under the covered porch. We hated to leave when our time was up and we will certainly be back. The house is comfortable both inside and outside."

  • Amazing!!!!

"My family rents beach and mountain cabins numerous times per year, however this cabin far exceeds any rental we have ever stayed in. It is fully equipped, we did not have to run to the store to buy anything. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and breathtakingly beautiful. The owners were wonderful to work with, we will definetly return and I know that our friends who live in the area have already referred this rental to their family members who plan to visit. It is in a great location, central to area attractions. Very easy to access. I cannot say enough about this wonderful cabin!!! We now have our special getaway in the montains!!"

  • Linda W. North Carolina

"Our family has just returned from the best vacation we have ever had....and all eleven of us, ages 4 through 70, agree! We had never been to Lake Toxaway, so we had no idea what to expect. We had seen the pictures of the house and it looked beautiful....but we held our breath as we opened the front door. All I can say is, it was WONDERFUL....down to the smallest detail. It was spotlessly clean, decorated beautifully....the lovely pictures on the website don't even do it justice! The kitchen was fully equipped with two refrigerators; there was plenty of space for our family and SO MUCH available for every person to enjoy. One of the loveliest features was the beautiful, comfortable porch (with a gas grill) overlooking the lake which we enjoyed from early morning till late at night. And the wonderful dock was filled with activity all day long...the sliding board into the lake and equipment for different water activities...a fire pit. Seeing and hearing unending laughter, good conversation, all of our family enjoying being together for meals around the table.... it was a vacation we will never forget and hope to repeat next year. And a huge thank you to Jennifer, the owner, for being so accessible and immediately responsive. Our experience has been a joy from beginning to end!"

  • Terrific

"My family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. The owners are fantastic and the detail they have put into the home will be obvious from the moment you arrive. The home is impeccable- stocked with everything you can imagine and then some. The views from the deck make you never want to leave. So much to do in and around Waynesville-- the Parkway is only an exit away which provides great hiking, picnicking and a fun day trip to Slippery Rock. Asheville is a quick 25 minute drive if you want to tour the Biltmore Estate or have a special dinner at the Grove Park Inn. However, plan you days accordingly because the home itself offers plenty!"
