"We only stayed two days and it wasn't enough. Hot tub was amazing for my low back pain and loved the sound of the creek close by. I don't recommend taking a little sports car up here though. My husband thought it would be fun to bring our little Miata for all the winding roads, which was fun, but it was not great for actually getting to the cabin. Driving through the little creek (though shallow) was not great for that car. I would bring a regular sized car or bigger. It rained about all day both days we were there so we didn't get to do too much exploring outside the cabin, but with puzzles, games, and movies we bought, there was plenty to do. It was also nice not having really any cell phone signal or wifi, we were able to just live in the moment. So if you're trying to get work done while away, this isn't the place."

"This place is absolutely amazing. To begin with, the peace and beauty of the surroundings is incredible. To stay there is like owning your own huge piece of forest with streams and flowers and ponds on it. The lodge itself is large enough to house an extended family comfortably but is also just great for only two. The interior is spotless and all the furnishings comfortable and attractive. The kitchen is a joy. We cooked in every evening and then enjoyed the twilight from the porch. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Julia is so easy to work with and so warm and welcoming. Having her as contact person made the whole process easy. She is very easy to reach and quick to respond to questions . We will definately return."

"This is an awesome place with beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere! The Cabin is very beautiful, spacious and charming! The area is great for hiking, sight seeing, enjoying the mountainous scenic views and watching the beautiful horses grazing in the flowing green land! There are evening activities down by the Barn/Horse Ranch area, and horse back riding over looking the mountains! There are many nice stores and restaurants in Maggie Valley and Asheville area also! This is a great place for the family!!"

"We just spend the weekend after Thanksgiving at Moose Manor to spend time with my boyfriends kids for the holiday and have Thanksgiving dinner with them. This home was the perfect place for all of us to get together. I love that the living area upstairs does not have a TV, so we were able to focus on each other when we were hanging out in there. Also, because of the openness of the upstairs space, I was able to cook meals and not feel left out. Even when some of the kids went in the futon room to play on the Xbox we brought, they still felt included. We had a very relaxing and special weekend. The view from the large windows and decks were beautiful and with good enough weather on Saturday, we were even able to enjoy the gazebo and swings on the decks.
Thank you for the perfect weekend with our family- we will definitely be back!!!"
