  • Great Cabin

"After not getting the right access code and having to drive 20 minutes to get a phone signal to get the right code the cabin was a welcome sight. Beautifully furnished and lots of room. The driveway was a slight struggle for the Passat and the Focus but the Suburban made it fine. It is a quick trip to rafting but you want to drive slow IT IS A BEAUTIFUL winding road with places to pull off and take pictures....Stunning. We love Nantahala it is one of God's greatest creations and this cabin is surrounded by it. The pictures don't really show it but there is a lot of outdoor space. Loved it!"

  • Quiet, secluded piece of paradise

"This wonderful cabin is VERY secluded and quiet. Millie was a delightful host. Homemade cookies waiting when we arrived and even homemade muffins were waiting for us on the second day. The beds are wonderful and the back deck is a great place for breakfast or an evening conversation or even smore's (left as a special surprise by Millie). Be sure to stock up on any needed groceries before you get to Topton because there are no grocery stores (although there were some food in the pantry). We were visiting the Nantahala Outdoor Center for whitewater competition and it was an easy 20-25 minute drive. The NOC has a couple of good restaurants. The cabin is a lovely down-home facility, not too fancy but just right for a little R & R!"

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"Everything is exactly as shown and promised. Loved sitting on the porch listening to the bubbling stream, drinking coffee at 60 degrees on a June morning. Living in south Florida we don't have many 60 degree mornings in the winter. Whitewater rafting nearby was fun for everyone and renting a pontoon boat for the day just down the road on Lake Nantahala! Made good use of fire pit and corn hole game on the large lawn."

  • Great cabin experience!!

"Being avid kayakers and mountain bikers my husband and I frequent the Nantahala area several times a year. This was our first time staying at this particular cabing and what a wonderful experience! The owners were very easy to contact, prompt on communication and even had the local property manager call us the night of arrival to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was very clean and had a great feel to it. The kitchen was well stocked with not only plates/bowls/utensils but also had a crock pot and flat top grill. The gas grill outside had a full tank of propane and even grilling utensils! The hot tub was very clean and sits on the back deck of the house so it is private. The 'game room' on the first floor was perfect and had everything you needed. Having the Nantahala Outdoor Center, Rivers End Restaurant and Slow Joe's makes staying at this cabin so much more driving long distances for dinner or a beer! I would definately recommend renting this cabin. We will be back!!"
