  • Wonderful place for relaxing on the river!

"My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay and highly recommend staying here. It is literally right on the river. Great back porch, great view from living room. We had everything we needed for a simple, comfortable stay. Very helpful property manager. We wish we could have stayed longer and plan to return this spring."

  • Comfortable and peaceful

"Our family of 6 rented the cabin for a long weekend. It was easy to find, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen is nicely outfitted; you may want to bring ice (no ice maker). Hot tub was great; wonderful wrap-around porch with swing and rocking chairs - we ate breakfast outside each day. Only about 20 minutes from the NOC or (other direction) Andrews (grocery store). Would return if in area again."

  • Great Cabin

"After not getting the right access code and having to drive 20 minutes to get a phone signal to get the right code the cabin was a welcome sight. Beautifully furnished and lots of room. The driveway was a slight struggle for the Passat and the Focus but the Suburban made it fine. It is a quick trip to rafting but you want to drive slow IT IS A BEAUTIFUL winding road with places to pull off and take pictures....Stunning. We love Nantahala it is one of God's greatest creations and this cabin is surrounded by it. The pictures don't really show it but there is a lot of outdoor space. Loved it!"

  • Perfect New Years!

"This was a perfect vacation home for New Years! My wife and I met some long-time friends here for very relaxing 4 day stint. We had a blast! Trout fishing, outdoor pit fire, air hockey...what a great home in the perfect place for a quiet get-away. This house has just about everything (OK...we couldn't find a potato masher, but we made do) and most of it is high end. You wouldn't think a vacation rental would be so well appointed/equipped. As for the hill, believe what you read. We had no issue in our 4 wheel drive SUV but my buddy's front wheel drive SUV couldn't get past the first 100 feet. This is a long, extremely steep gravel road. If it rained anytime in the week prior to your arrival, you probably won't get past the initial 100 feet. AWD or 4WD is a must! Also, since there are only 2 houses on this mountain and it is so steep, you will certainly have your privacy. I searched for many "cabins" in the Smokies and nothing compares to this gem. It's an outstanding place at an outstanding price! A+++"
