  • Excellent place for a short getaway with our little family!

"My wife and I were looking for a little spot to take our kids for a few days over the Christmas break. We have a 5 year old, 3 year old, and 3 month old. The goal was to find a place to shut ourselves inside for a few days and enjoy family time without the distractions of home. This "little house" was exactly what we needed. The house was excellent and Mrs. Millie and Mr. Jack were much better than we could have expected as hosts. Their hospitality (and the blueberry muffins) was very much appreciated. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The kids loved the hot tub and the goodies left by Mrs. Millie. We enjoyed making s'mores by the fire pit and grilling on the outdoor grill. The cabin is in a beautiful spot too. The ride in can be breathtaking with beautiful waterfalls and rapids. We've talked about a return trip in the summer. Thank you for helping us make memories with our kids!"

  • Family Reunion

"Had a wonderful trip with family last week. The cabin has just about everything you need! Kitchen necessities and staples are all there and ready for you. Firewood was there (but too fresh/wet to burn too well but not a major complaint...just had to work harder to keep it going). Grill, Deck, Swingset, Movie Room were big hits for all. Cabin is big enough for everyone but private spaces for all. Great views, quiet setting, can do nothing at all and still feel like it was a great day! Location is very rural but drive to Robbinsville isn't too bad and they have about everything else you'd need. We would visit again!"

Owl Creek Travel Tips

Owl Creek Vacation Rentals Provide Amazing Views of the Smoky Mountains

Owl Creek is located in the North Carolina Smoky Mountains and is rich with history. It was named by a family of Cherokee Indians called Uguku, meaning owl, who lived in the area. Some family members still live in the surrounding counties. The last Civil War battle was fought at the head of Owl Creek and Hanging Dog Creeks. You can stay in the middle of all this history by renting Smoky Mountain cabin rentals in Owl Creek on your next vacation.

Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals are in Close Proximity to Several Attractions

The North Carolina Smoky Mountains are filled with fun and adventure, and Owl Creek cabins put you near them all. The North Carolina Bartram Trail crosses over some of the most scenic mountains of the state and has many side trails that lead to views of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains. Blowing Rock is an area where the wind blows constantly due to the walls of the Johns River Gorge, which form a flume through which the Northwest winds sweep with so much force that it will return light objects you throw over the edge. Cherokee Indian Reservation is the home to the descendants of the Cherokee family who named the area. Deep Creek Tubing provides an area to cool off on a hot summer day, take a bike ride, hike, or go horseback riding through the trails and see many waterfalls.

Owl Creek Cabins Offer Amazing Views and Comfort

Owl Creek cabins are perfect for family getaways and provide enough room for a multiple-family getaway. They can sleep up to ten people and offer fireplaces, full kitchens, king-size beds, and several different electronics.
