  • Peace and Relaxation

"The cabin was exactly as mentioned. Very clean, cozy, quiet and secluded. The owners provided everything we needed, along with a few extras! They were great about responding to any questions or concerns we had prior to our trip! I can't express how clean the cabin was!! Not a speck of dust, and it being a cabin in the woods I was extremely surprised to not even a single insect inside!! I will definitely try to make my way back to this little treasure, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!!! Thank you to the owners for sharing their home with us!"

  • Excellent And Relaxing

"This is the second time that my fiancee and I stayed at Stoney Fork Cabin, and just like the last time, our stay was excellent! The cabin is beautiful and is right on the edge of the national forest, the hot-tub sits on a deck perched over a gorgeous babbling stream, and while the cabin is private, it is only a 15-20 minute car ride to downtown Asheville, N.C. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for an enjoyable rustic getaway or a quite romantic spot to take someone special."

  • A beutiful spot to retreat in view of the Blue Ridge Mts. and close to Asheville, NC

"Our week st Highwoods was delightbul. Our hostess thought of so many details and conveniences that made the stay of three generations a memorable Christmas. The three level comfortable home with a large deck overlooks a valley with the Blue Ridge Mts. as a backdrop. Being close to the town of Asheville with its many opportunities for short pleasurable excursions made Highwoods all-the-more enjoyable."

  • Dragonfly Cottage

"Beautiful home overlooking a gorgeous, unspoiled view of Lake Santeetlah. We had a lovely pre-Thanksgiving weekend at the Dragonfly Cottage and found the owner to be very easy to work with and the cabin an absolute delight to stay in. Two recommendations: ask for precise directions to the cottage because although there are only two homes on the street, it's in a small subdivision and is actually not that easy to find, especially at dusk; and also if you want to play games or watch movies while at the cottage, plan to bring your own as this cottage, unlike all the others we've rented is happily not strewn with junk! You won't find signs everywhere nor will you find ratty decks of cards, games, or movies that don't work! You may want to bring matches or a lighter and firewood too. The Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is nearby and is a beautiful park with a fun, easy hiking trail. Also, the Santeetlah Dam is interesting to visit, and Robbinsville is nearby for groceries or other needs."
