  • Relaxing

"Wonderful porch, great house, fabulous fishing pond and I could keep going. The path leading to the house is beautifully designed from the hand laid rock path to the magnificent landscaping. My only disappointment is that it is not very disabled friendly. It's nothing, in my case, that a walker and a shower chair wouldn't have handled; just know to be prepared if you need additional assistance. honestly, this property is so well setup then all you need is one trip to the grocery store and you never have to leave. porches awesome, you can go hiking, enjoy fishing or just relax. we will be back."

  • Great Place/Peaceful Getaway

"Woodside Inn was a perfect Getaway for us. We travelled from Maine, our niece and her family travelled from St . Louis and we met here to spend some quality time together. The home was more than roomy enough for the 5 of us. It's country location was scenic and just what we were hoping for. The opportunity to have evening campfires in the backyard was very relaxing. The dead end road was nice to walk along and enjoy the little fenced in fields and cows, with very little traffic. The small pond on the property had 4 resident ducks which our 8 yr old nephew loved feeding and visiting with. The lawn was well maintained as was the home. There was plenty to do in the area without much of a drive. We took a train ride, mined for sapphires and hiked to several waterfalls. David, the owner, was super kind and helpful. We would highly recommend Woodside Inn to everyone."

  • Memorable trip!!

"We had been to multiple cabins, but this was THE best and memorable one. Joseph was very helpful in all the aspects, and we did not have any issues during our stay. Would definitely stay here if I happen to visit this area."

  • Carolyn and Kristen

"My daughter and I stayed at this doll house for a one night getaway. We were in awe of this little French country cottage! The grounds were spacious and beautiful from the travertine tiled gazebo, stone pizza oven, beautiful gardens down to the blueberry field out the back door where we picked ample amounts of blueberries for our breakfast. The cottage was clean and so cozy. We enjoyed the front porch by candlelight, listening to the birds and watching fireflies. Saluda is a great small town with great local food in the family owned businesses. Some recommendations are The Purple Onion restaurant, Random Arts studio, and a short drive to hiking trails and waterfalls in flat rock. Susan's place was dog friendly and inviting. The photos don't do it justice. Will definitely be visiting again!"
