  • Name says it all - great get away

"What a pleasure! The location is great - very beautiful private area but close enough to grocery store and restaurants. Day trips to Asheville, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure among others. The house is beautiful - very comfortable and charming and has everything you need. We were surprised with an early season snow so didn't get to take full advantage of the terrific front porch but a great reason to go back! Thanks for letting us use you're home. We'll definitely be back."

  • Positive experience!

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Leslie was a very nice woman who was very accepting of our dogs. The cabin was exactly as described and was very clean and pleasant. We were happy to have the gas fireplace, as it was very cold during our stay! Leslie brought us extra blankets, just to be sure we were comfortable. The view from the cabin was beautiful- on the border of a horse farm! Overall, we definitely recommend this nice cabin for your stay."

  • Loved the "Bunk House"

"If you need to attend an event at Western Carolina University, this could not be more perfect. It was spotless, well-equipped and sooooooo comfortable! I loved the rustic, cowboy themed décor. We were transported to country life the minute we walked in the door. I highly recommend this beautiful place!!"

  • Fabulous Vacation Home!

"My family enjoyed an incredible vacation together at Chestnut Cove in early March. We try to get away at least twice a year, and need a large space to accommodate our family. The pictures of Chestnut Cove that you see on vrbo are beautiful, however, they do not compare to being in the cottage and enjoying the beautiful wooden frame/structure. We loved the chef's kitchen - we are love to cook, and the home was large enough for all of the cooks to be in the kitchen at one time. We also enjoyed the outdoor kitchen / fireplace areas, and the sunsets are just fabulous. The home was large enough that we all could find a quiet space to read a book, or areas to spend time with family members. The furnishings made us feel at home, the home is kept immaculately clean! The location is not too far from Asheville, just far enough to feel that you are away from it all! The home does have wireless, and truly every amenity that you could ask! We enjoyed visiting Mars Hill, and had some incredible days in Asheville. We also had an awesome breakfast at Sunny Point Café in Asheville, definitely a must if you are in Asheville! My family enjoyed Chestnut Cove so much, that we are hoping to visit again!"
