  • Heaven on Earth !!!

"Hi Jimbo! Thank you for providing such a perfect place to take a real vacation - I couldn't have asked for anything more! The house is very clean and inviting - I love the two fireplaces and the beautiful furniture! The farm house has such great character both inside and out and I felt so comfortable and relaxed while I was there. The land is so beautifully manicured - It is amazing for such a large property! I enjoyed feeding the fish in the beautiful lake and sitting on the wooden swing to watch the sunset. I can make one trip into town to buy groceries and then stay on the property for an entire week without leaving! The hiking trails are amazing and the views from everywhere on your property are the best ever! I appreciate that you check in on us to ensure that everything is OK. I will recommend this perfect vacation spot to everyone I know- It doesn't get better than Jimbo's Farm! Kathi and Nica"

  • Better than expected!!

"The cabin was fantastic! So clean that one could eat off the hardwood floor! It is great for familes with kids or as an escape from the kids! The cabin is nestled in the woods with other houses and cabins but it is so isolated that you don't notice them. As soon as we have the dates for our annual car meet next year, we are planning to book this place for the week if available!"

"Loved this cabin at the top of the mountain. Amazing views especially at sunset. A trillion stars light the sky at night. Enjoyed the balcony with inspiring views of mountains. If you're looking for a retreat with an unspoiled, natural beauty and quiet, peaceful setting, this cabin is for you. Thanks Lisa Meade for your hospitality and helpfulness."

  • MEN'S RETREAT

"My brother, son-in-law, an old high school friend and I recently stayed at "Up the Creek" during a men's retreat to ride the Tail of the Dragon and experience some of the many available outdoor activities the area offered. We had a wonderful time. The large cabin easily accommodated the four of us and Ginger and Dex were very gracious hosts. The cabin was clean and offered excellent amenities for our stay. There was cover for our motorcycles and ample parking for the tow vehicle as well. The babbling brook made drinking coffee on the wrap-around deck an enjoyable experience each morning. The steam sauna in particular was appreciated after the long days of riding and eating the local fare. Although we had a minor incident with one of the motorcycles (tire blowout), which had nothing to do with the cabin, Ginger and Dex were very understanding and did not rush us out of the cabin on our checkout day. We were not able to pick the motorcycle up from the local shop until later in the day and Ginger insisted that we take our time, which provided us with a stress-free transition back to reality. I highly recommend staying at "Up the Creek" to anyone who enjoys an adventure in a warm, inviting, cozy environment and appreciates the hospitality of its gracious hosts!"

Surrounded by Nature in Robbinsville Vacation Rentals

Robbinsville vacation rentals are set in the heart of Nantahala National Forest. Nantahala means "land of the noonday sun" in Cherokee Indian, and the forest was given this name because it is so lush with vegetation in some locations that the sun only reaches the forest floor at high noon. It provides a great opportunity to explore the beauty of nature, including hiking trails, waterfalls, and wildlife.
