"We rented this house for a week-long family vacation in late July and will definitely rent it again. While the house is not big (a master bed/bath and kitchen/den area on the main floor and large upstairs bedroom upstairs), but it was very comfortable for us and our three children. The owner had just added air conditioner in the upstairs bedroom, and our kids slept very comfortably and late! The large porch off the kitchen is what really stands out -- you feel like you in the clouds with incredible views and complete tranquillity all around. It is also great for entertaining, as we also had two other family over for dinner one night. The property is also also centrally located for hiking (Gorges State Park is awesome), rafting (Chattooga River recommended), going into Cashiers or Highlands, etc. And there is a great and easy hiking trail on the property. We really look forward to getting back there."

"I wanted to shoot you a quick note to let you know what a fantastic time we had at your beautiful home over Memorial Day weekend. I loved the authentic cabin feel yet with all of the modern comforts of home. The quiet beautiful seclusion of the woods were accented by the fragrant flowers blooming all over the back of the property.....just amazing!!! I am a Michigan girl and grew up in the woods, but your slice of heaven is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing it with us.
We also took in the charm that is Cashiers, and traveled to the Highlands. The drive was fantastic. The weather was perfect….not too hot or cold. On Sunday we spent 8 hours at NOC Outdoor Center where we went White Water Rafting and another 3 hours Mountain Zip Lining. Imagine zipping from mountaintop to mountaintop for a half mile at 55 miles per hour!! Coolest thing I have ever done and I am a pilot!!
This trip was magical and it really solidified my boyfriend and I''s love for one another. So much so, that he proposed to me this weekend! My answer was delivered with the same excitement that I displayed when I jumped off that mountaintop to fly over the valley……”YEssssssssssss”!!!!
Thank you again...we will definitely be back!

"Loved the location and the views from the spacious back porch deck. Easy access to the dock, even for a 60+ year old! Really nice activities at the community center. We swam, played pool and miniature golf and our grandsons (ages 4 and 6) also played some of the games in the arcade.
The house is so clean! That was very important to me. We cooked big family meals on most nights and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The furniture was very comfortable and perfect for the amount of people that we had. We played a rousing game of Hand and Foot at the spacious table and did lots of puzzles, played Monopoly and Farkle there. My son loved the reading nook! The house is cozy and much prettier than even the pictures show.
Patty was awesome to work with and kept in touch quickly when I had questions. Cashiers has whatever you're looking for in a restful yet active mountain getaway. We would definitely recommend this home to our friends! Thanks, Patty, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!"

Great Getaway for 3 Generations (Second Time Around)
"This is our 2nd stay at this property. We had 3 generations, 7 adults and 5 kids (11-5). It was wonderful see the stress fade way from the adults and the joy come to the kids when they went exploring the creek right out back of the house. There is so much to do, white-water rafting, ride the Great Smoky Mountain Train, panning for gems, hiking and shopping for those who want to shop. It was a marvelous vacation!"
