  • Great place!

"Our stay was wonderful. The house is beautiful and provided a very comfortable place for our time at Lake Junaluska. There's also a great nature trail located right across the street that has lots of beautiful flowers and trees."

  • Family getaway

"This was a charming and relaxing place to spend our week with the kids. The views are great. We had a lightning show on the night that we arrived. There are layers of mist down the hill in the morning, and then it clears up later in the day to reveal the mountains in the distance. We enjoyed watching the cows outside the window. We made use of the kitchen for breakfast, and sometimes dinner after being out all day. It was nice to just relax and eat at our leisure. We found all the supplies and kitchen tools that we needed. It's reasonably close to Asheville and we were able to get to a lot of attractions with 20 minutes."

  • Peace, quite and private

"Nancy, leaving the Treetop Vista after only several short days was difficult. We had the best time I can remember just being in the quite and peacefulness of your cabin. It was everything we hoped for. Cathy was very happy to find everything she needed and how nicely furnished and comfortable it was. We are looking forward to a return trip soon."

  • Great Family Weekend

"Beautiful log cabin home that's comfy and modern. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck while listening to the peaceful mountain stream run by. Free-wifi and comfortable beds were a big plus. If you take a right out of the driveway you can get to downtown Asheville in 15-20 minutes. Would definitely stay here again."

Stecoah Travel Tips

Stecoah Vacation Rentals Offer Plenty of Natural Beauty

Ask people why they choose Stecoah vacation rentals over the thousands of other locations that they could pick for their trips, and the vast majority of them will talk about the area's natural beauty. Stecoah cabins are nestled in the Smoky Mountains, where you can choose to enjoy exhilarating outdoor activities or simply relax while you enjoy the scenery.

Reaching the Appalachian Trail From Stecoah Cabins

Stecoah cabins will put you right next to a portion of the Appalachian Trail that runs through western North Carolina. Many outdoorsmen dream about completing this 2,168-mile trail. They rarely find time to spend months hiking the whole trail, but your Stecoah vacation rentals will put you in close proximity to a part of the trail. Spend a day or two hiking along the Appalachian Trail and you will get a sense of what an amazing journey the whole trail offers.

Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals

Stecoah is located very close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so you simply have to hike some of its trails before you go home. In fact, you might want to extend your stay at Smoky Mountain cabin rentals when you learn that the national park offers more than 800 miles of trails.

Relaxing at Stecoah Cabins

The numerous hiking opportunities will eventually drain away your energy. When you need to recharge, you can choose to spend the day lazing around your Smoky Mountain cabin rental, or venture out of the Stecoah cabins for an easy day on the lake. Fontana Lake and Lake Santeetlah give you the opportunity to enjoy the subtle rocking of the lake water. If you don't have your own boat, then you can rent one from Almond Boat Dock, Alarka Boat Dock, Flat Branch Boat Dock, or any of the other public docks around the lake that have rentals.
