  • Great time had by all

"Bill, Your FULLY equipped cabin was the perfect retreat for our large group. We had four adults on the main level and three kids and another adult downstairs and it worked perfectly. The media room was a big hit at night. Thanks again for a great stay."

  • WONDERFUL VACATION RETREAT!

"Our family just spent a week at this cabin and it was fantastic! The cabin is exactly as described. Morning coffee on the back deck listening to the creek below was very relaxing. We definitely took advantage of the lodge/lake amenities. Fishing, canoeing, jet skiing. We found rope swings on the lake that the kids loved. The waterfalls were beautiful. We relaxed by the pool--even had a bear cross the road in front of us on the way back to the cabin. Whitewater rafting on the Nantahala river was so much fun. The owners and Sundog Rentals were great to deal with. I would definitely recommend staying here."

  • Great Girls Getaway

"We had a great girls getaway at Bear Lake. It is centrally located to various small towns (Sylva, Cashiers, Bryson City and Highlands). Some in our group wanted to just chill and others were a little more active. There was plenty to do for all. Some went hiking while others laid by the pool and read. If you like serenity, change of pace and nice views, this is the place to be. The weather was perfect."

  • Great week

"We have been coming to the Smokies since the seventies and our week with all our family at your cottage in Bear Lake Reserve was one of our most enjoyable. Plenty of things to do for the kids as well as the adults. Excellent cottage with many comforts plus the pool and boating at the clubhouse made for a great week for all of us."
