Recent Smoky Mountains reviews

  • Outstanding!

"We loved this cabin! My kids loved climbing to the peak of mountains nearby. The cabin was a little tight for two adults and two older kids but we made it work. We truly appreciated all the breakfast items and the pizza was an added treat. The short walk to the winery was a bonus. Pat was just the greatest host and it was a pleasure meeting her and her family. We hope to be back when its warmer and my kids can enjoy the zipline places nearby."

  • Felt like home

"We only stayed in this house a couple of days, but it was so nice and inviting. I swear you can relax immediately. Feels just like being in your own home. The house was very neat and clean. It was spacious without being cavernous. There was an air hockey table which kept my daughter entertained for the time we were there. The yard is bordered by beautiful trees that give you great privacy."

  • Christmas at the cottage

"We had a fabulous time "running away" for Christmas. Very cozy and quiet, great for spending time as just our little family."

  • perfect for us

"My girlfriend and i stayed in the cabin for 4 nights i could have stayed a month. We wanted to spend time at Biltmore and Gatlingberg, Maggie Vally was just perfect. We loved the cabin, everything was clean, it was so beautiful and as two single gals we felt totaly safe and slept every night with windows wide open. Being from Kansas City and both plant and nature lovers we just couldn't get over the rhododendrons that grow wild in the woods. We can't wait to come back when they are in bloom. Thanks again, evrything was PERFECT! Tracy and Mallory in KC"

Tuxedo Travel Tips

Explore Nature with the Comforts of Home With Tuxedo Vacation Rentals

These Tuxedo cabins are right by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the beautiful Lake Summit. While others are roughing it, your cabin will give you all the comforts of modern life. Instead of a tent, you'll have a roof. Instead of a fire, you'll have a stove. Last, but not least, instead of the hard ground, you'll have a soft bed. Yet, even with all this comfort, you're just a short drive from the heart of nature.

Tuxedo Cabins Help You Explore the Great Outdoors

You will find yourself surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural scenes in America. Tuxedo is just minutes away from Lake Summit, borders on the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains, and just a short drive will put you deep within the Smoky Mountains. Take in the best of America's wilderness by hiking up to the Indian Creek Falls. One of the best natural light shows in the world calls the Smoky Mountains home. In the summer, you can bask in the glow of synchronized fireflies. The Smoky Mountains are also home to one of the largest remaining populations of the Black Bears, but don't get too close. To protect the animals, there's a fine on those who willfully approach closer than 50 feet.

Smoky Mountain Cabin Rentals Let You Experience the Best the South has to Offer

Tuxedo lies just south of Asheville, sometimes called the Paris of the South. Sample fine Appalachian cooking filled with zesty Smoky Mountain onions. Indulge in soul food. After a scenic day of hiking, return to your cabin, dress up and head to town where you can listen to some of the best folk and Bluegrass music in the world.
