  • Wonderful Private Family Vacation for All Ages

"We spent a wonderful weekend with our extended family at Lake Lodge on Lake Catatoga. The home is beautiful and inviting with large rooms, bathrooms and living areas. The setting on Lake Catatoga is ideal for families. We enjoyed the upper porches for morning coffee, the lower dock for drinks and smores and spent endless hours on the lake. The lake is a nice, manageable size for families. From our 6 year olds to our teenagers, all were able to enjoy the lake activities. The boathouse (just down from the house) provides wonderful canoes and kayaks and our teenagers spent hours fishing around the lake with great success. We rented paddle boards from White Squirrel Paddle Boards (delivery included) and the adults down to our six year olds enjoyed paddle boarding around the lake. The kids also had a blast jumping off the dock while the grandparents/parents lounged on the dock. The clubhouse was a fun change of scenery with a beautiful pool, hot tub, weight room and pool table and games. We also enjoyed a nice family hike to the nearby waterfall and a morning of golf at Sapphire. With lots of water activity in a quiet, private setting, this was the ideal spot to spend a weekend catching up with family."

  • Amazing cabin, amazing view

"My family loved our stay, no one wanted to leave. Cabin has everything you could need. We loved spending time on the porch watching the hummingbirds and the gorgeous view. I hope we can come back again."

  • Peaceful Getaway

"For spring break this year we decided to look for a mountain getaway. My mom, dad, grandmother and myself stayed here for three nights. This was a very nice cabin, high on the side of the mountain, with gorgeous views. The drive up could get a little stressful if you aren't used to driving to the top of a mountain, but the view was worth it. The owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. Hope to go back one day!"

  • Gorgeous up-to-date home!

"My family and I stayed there for a week the end of July. There were 8 of us and we had more than enough space. We have stayed at many vacation homes in many different places. This was, by far, the cleanest, most well-maintained home we have rented. The first room we saw upon entering is the kitchen. The appliances are top of the line. My husband LOVED the flat top on the range! The counter tops are lovely and we took notice of the uniqueness of the counter top and sink in the half bath. The great room has a very grand feeling with the large fireplace. We ate all of our meals at the dining room table off the kitchen. The bedrooms are very spacious with extremely comfortable beds. I did notice all of the art work/paintings throughout the entire home. Maybe the owner is an artist? My son and his cousin took the bonus room above the garage. They had their own little "boy-cave"! My daughter had the bedroom upstairs with the view of the mountains. She looked so tiny in the king sized princess bed! The master bedroom and bathroom was AmAzInG!! I think its larger than our home in Ohio! Now let me mention the view off the back deck...Breathtaking!! I dont think I could ever get tired of looking at those spectacular mountains. Every 15 minutes the colors and and view changes. My dad had "his favorite" chair on the deck. I wonder how much time he spent sitting there. So nice to see him relaxing and soaking in the peacefulness of nature. The Connesstee Falls area is unlike any area I've ever stayed in before. The hikes around the area and the waterfalls are like something out of another world. The trails are well taken care of and you can sense the love that goes into keeping them accessible. My husband and I fell in love with the whole Brevard area. Thank-you for allowing us to make more family memories in your wonderful home! I would recommend this home to everyone who wants to get their moneys worth and more!"
