"My family of 5, husband & I, 3 adult children and one's girlfriend & one's boyfriend stayed the week of New Year's and it was truly a wonderful getaway! The owner, Karen, was personable, great to work with and her home was exactly as you see on the website, and then some! The pool and tiki bar made us feel like we were at a resort. The privacy it offered was perfect. The house was big enough for 7 adults to enjoy time together and quiet time. The beds were SO comfortable. The house had everything we needed and very clean. I loved the beach themed decorations throughout the house. The beautiful beach is only a few minutes walk away. The neighborhood is nice & quiet. There's a trolley stop at the end of the street that we waited at on New Year's Eve to go to Times Square. We rented a pontoon boat one day that was sunny with a beautiful blue sky and everyone had a great time being on the water. We had lunch one day at the restaurant, Junkanoo and with the floor to ceiling open windows we enjoyed a great view of the beach. This house was perfect in every way & so conducive to getting lots of R&R. Everyone said they'd love to come back and all of us will look forward to being here again!"

"We absolutely loved this mountain home. It was the perfect amount of space for the group of friends (7 adults) having a winery/brewery tasting weekend. Barbara, the owner, was very quick to answer any and all questions or concerns we may have had. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need and the house was very clean. Beds were very comfy and there was plenty of extra pillows and blankets if needed. We would absolutely return to this house for any future outings we may have in the area. Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful vacation home."

"Our family of 4 recently concluded a month long rental in August 2014 at Bob and Jeanne’s cabin. Bob and Jeanne are gracious hosts. Both greeted us on our arrival and made effort to connect with us periodically during our time at the cabin.
Long-time visitors to the Northwoods of Wisconsin, we could not have been more happy with our experience here. The cabin was perfectly appointed with plenty of room to accommodate our family, plus several members of our extended family who visited us periodically during our rental. With its knotted pine interior and big stone fireplace, the house has that perfect Northwoods feel. The glass sided deck and huge windows provide outstanding views of the lake and the undeveloped state forest on the opposite shore. From the flagstone patio (complete with fire pit) to the nicely maintained lakefront area, it’s clear that Bob and Jeanne have invested a lot of time and effort to make the house and overall property a true retreat for their guests.
Little Spider Lake is a lovely lake of about 235 acres. It feels a lot bigger given its shape, which offer a number of coves, inlets and bays to explore. With Bob’s recommendation, we rented a pontoon boat to use during our time for fishing/swimming and general boating on the lake. A buoy in the middle of the lake marks a sandbar/island that was fun to visit and swim off of. The water is extremely clear. It is a good lake for both swimming and fishing. We caught a large number of respectable largemouth bass and oodles of pan fish during our time. Eagles and loons were ever-present while we were on the lake.
Other reviews and the property description already adequately and accurately tout the nearby amenities. It really is hard to imagine a better location. Our family particularly enjoyed riding the Boulder Junction bike trail, swimming and beaching at Crystal Lake, and hiking the Fallison Lake Nature Trail. All just a short 5 minute drive from the cabin. The Northern Cafe and its fantastic breakfast fare is not to be missed.
Having rented other properties in surrounding communities in recent years (some good, some lacking), none would top Bob & Jeanne's on our list of recommendations."

"This was our second time staying at this location. The condo is well appointed and ready to go when you walk in. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances/dishes/pots,pans/cutlery etc. We loved sitting out on the back balcony as the sun set and quiet settled in. The trees invite various small and large birds, while ducks, turtles etc., enjoyed the water feature. The location makes for easy access to various parts of the greater Phoenix area, the desert for hiking and the mountains for exploration. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with."
