  • 1st annual Family Reunion

"What Pearl Beach Lakehouse lacked in newness, it made up for in amenities and space. We were lucky that the weather was in the 70's this weekend, or else the lack of air conditioning would have been a problem, especially for our older family members. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the firepit, large den area, and plentiful linens, towels, and paper products. The walk to the beach was a bit treacherous, especially for my pregnant daughter and ailing uncle. But once we got down there, was nice to just relax so close to the water. All in all, our stay was a nice one."

  • A relaxing place to unwind and just enjoy the woods.

"We stayed at the Brush Creek Cabin for two nights in mid-May, 2014 and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. This cabin lived up to all of our expectations. It was comfortable, immaculate, well stocked with supplies, linens, nice-to-have items such as coffee and popcorn, etc., etc. The location is so beautiful that I could feel myself unwinding as I sat on the deck and watched the trees swaying in the breeze, and listened to the birds and spring peepers. We simply loved our stay. It is near to great hiking and historic sites, such as the Great Serpent Mound, but we couldn't tear ourselves away from the deck and the beautiful trees. We'll have to see those things next time."

  • family reunion destination

"This house was a great place for my family to meet to relive the summer vacations of my adult children's youths. It is clean and very much as pictured in the listing. Proximity to Cedar Point, Soak City, and Lake Erie Islands Ferries was great. We were also able to walk into Huron to walk out on the pier and to get a snack at the Pied Piper, all activities we'd enjoyed in the 90's. There were 14 in our group so we also rented a cottage across the street which was recommended by the owner of this property. That worked out great for extra beds and bathrooms, but this tropical "cottage" is huge and we had plenty of space, dishes, chairs, tables etc for all of us to do all of our cooking, meals and relaxing here. The younger members of our group appreciated the strong WiFi signal. The central air conditioning was quite welcome on the several humid days during our stay. Large capacity washer and dryer were also a big help. I would recommend this property to others."

  • Great long weekend!

"The Pearsons have thought of everything at their house. We didn't have a need for anything whole there. They have created a great vacation home on the lake! Thanks for a great stay"
