"We spent the Labor Day weekend at the home and it was fantastic! We arrived and found the home to be near immaculate and we were ready to enjoy our stay.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. A nice living and dining area compliment the other areas. Having the needed sheets and towels already there were a bonus. They were clean and cozy.
The downstairs level with games and the hot tub were a lot of fun as well.
We loved the private beach and spent hours enjoying it. Just playing in the water, skipping rocks, searching for beach glass and shells, bonfires, etc.
Just enjoying the sights and sounds of the waves were great too.
The town itself was small but nice. Most everything closes up at 5/6 P.M. so get there during the day.
One note for those with young children or who are light sleepers: the nearby train tracks are very busy at all times of the day and the train whistles do blare often. We'd recommend bringing along a fan to use while sleeping to cover up the horn/whistle a bit.
Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We would definitely consider staying again! Maybe for a bit longer next time. Thank you Dan and Judy for a great stay!"

"This was our first stay at Grandview Manor. We are four couples who met on a tour of Scotland and Ireland several years ago, and instantly became friends. We try to get together somewhere every six months or so, and it was my turn to plan our weekend getaway. Since I live on Lake Erie, several hours away, I decided that our friends should see all that our lovely lake area had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the Manor is! We each had our own bedrooms and several even had suites with their own full bathrooms! The kitchen, where we all gathered to prepare our meals, was huge and accommodating and the dining room table was just right for our meals and games of cards in the evenings. We also kept a fire going in the lakefront fire pit almost all weekend, and even though the weather wasn't the greatest, we enjoyed the time that we could gather around the fire. The house was warm and inviting and very, very comfortable! As we were saying our 'goodbyes' and trying to decide where to stay next, the group decided that we would definitely choose this place to come back to! Thank you, Karen, for helping me plan the perfect weekend and I'll definitely be in touch to plan for next year!"

"Our family just concluded another great stay at Paul and Tris' beautiful cottage on Lake Erie. We've lost count but believe this is our 6 or 7th year to stay in this wonderful house. The setting is relaxed, the house is beautiful and fully equipped - we only need to bring clothes and food, and the weather was fantastic as it generally is when we visit. Paul and Tris are wonderful hosts - very friendly and discrete but available if we need them. Coming here for our week in July is a highlight of our year - we're already looking forward to next year!"
