"I can not put into words how lovely Lisa's cottage is. It is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. I even snagged a few idea for my own home from some of her decorations. I got my husband and I away for the weekend for his birthday and her place was perfect. I woke him up both mornings listening to her record collection that she keeps in the cottage for you to listen to. Although we would have loved more time there we enjoyed what time that we did have. We've even talked about bringing up the whole family next time. The small town of Vermilion is quiet and beautiful and we enjoyed walking around town and trying out all new places to eat. We can not wait to come back. Thank you Lisa for everything you did for us and keeping up this lovely cottage."

"Everything was just as advertised! Home was spotless and comfortable. Very convenient to all the activities in and around Huron.
We will return to Huron in the near future and I will not hesitate to try to reserve this home away from home again"

"Our large family (11 adults plus three young children) had a great time at the lakeside house. Having the beach at our doorstep meant that we pretty much stayed put and just enjoyed the weather and waterside living. Many of the bedrooms are super-sized with a lot of room to spread out. There even was a bedroom downstairs (and nearby bathroom) that would accommodate anyone with mobility impairments. There seem to be TVs everywhere but we only used a couple of them. There is room for five cars in the wide driveway which was perfect for us.
The downside was that there were not enough pictures of the interior posted and even when we requested them, nothing came our way. I personally like to get a better feel for the property before arrival. We were also promised information about local attractions, but that didn't show up either. Nevertheless, we had done enough of our own research to know how close we were to local attractions.
For those who like to get out and see the area a little, Port Clinton and Sandusky are an easy 30-minute drive east. Nature-lovers can head west to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, a short drive away.
Given the size of our family, I'd go back again if I could get everyone on board. It's hard to find that one-week vacation consensus from our large clan in a timely enough fashion. I did get a lot of kudos from our family for finding this place though. It was a hit."
