"I'm sitting at Abigail's as I write this. My seven-year-old is playing soccer with his grandmother on the huge private landscaped lawn, which is a few short steps down a path to a gorgeous gazebo on the lake. We have spent many a quiet evening at the gazebo watching the waves, enjoying a glass of wine while my son plays with sparklers or bubbles.
The cottages are so much more than you'd expect from a little lakeside cottage, with beautiful hardwood floors, newly equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and screened-in porch for pest-free eating. For rainy days they have dish t.v. and wifi. The places are immaculately kept by a friendly (and hard-working!) woman named Star. Fresh towels, and clean linens are also a part of the deal, along with a well-stocked kitchen (we found paper towels, paper plates, cutlery, wine glasses, and grill-ware in great condition). I also have to add that typically I hate hotel/cottage beds and tend to not sleep well, but that has NOT been the case here!
Perhaps the only downside is that folks strolling the strip frequently walk by and gawk at how great this place is! It truly is a gem. Not only are you on the lake, you're literally a block away from Eddie's Grill and all the great things there are to do on the strip, no need to drive anywhere. A really fun, affordable, and relaxing vacation spot with all the amenities you could hope for."

"We have spent two Labor Day Weekends at the cottage! The place is just as pictured! Clean and well-maintained! Tons of space and so many wonderful amenities: 2 full bathrooms; washer & dryer; and full kitchen! We also enjoyed having all the seating in the living room. Owners have made the place very warm and inviting! Plus the beach truly is about 6 houses down and private! Both times we have visited we were pleasantly surprised to have everything we needed. This year, we even ventured out and did the Winery Tour from The Lodge which includes 4 wineries! Make reservations if you are interested. It was a blast!
The house is also situated mid-strip and convenient to everything!! Lots to see and quite a few great places to eat! If you forget anything (paper towels, toiletries, etc.) there is a general store on the strip :) Owners really have made the place a home away from home! Thank you again for a great place to stay!"

"This year is our second time staying at the Grandview Manor. Our group had four adults and five kids. Even with all of us in the house, we had so much room to spread out and really relax. The kids love the kitchen booth to eat all their meals and we loved as parents the ability to have a conversation while eating at the dining room table. :)
We love the big yard and having the quiet neighborhood especially at night. The husbands also enjoyed that it was within walking distance to the Driftwood Bar for a glass of beer and live music.
We will be booking our summer vacation next year at the Grandview Manor!"

"The sound of the waves brought peace from our busy work life. The town was quiet since it was before season but the golf course was nice. Everything was able to be walked to. The view was spectacular and the sunsets were perfect Evey night. Thanks for opening up your home to us."
