"This was our 7th. annual group get away and we were not disappointed!! At our stays end, we have done it all! Cooked out, extended stay at the fire pit, kayak races, fished, swam with our dog, cards, ping pong, and watched the Buckeyes win again!! We look forward to our trip every year and wouldn't miss it for the world!!! Lodge on the Lake is the best because it has everything we need!! Can't wait til next year!"

"What a great experience from start to finish! We were in the Cincinnati area over labor day weekend to see the Brewers play. Our group consisted of two couples (so 4 adults) and one toddler. This was the perfect spot. The house was actually in Kentucky, just across the river from the Great American Ballpark. It was about a 10 minute walk without the hassle of parking, etc... In addition to the ballpark, there was a lot to do in the vicinity for adults and children.
The owner, Lisa, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Prior to our arrival she provided tons on information on parking, getting around, restaurants, shopping, etc... She met us at the house on arrival to give us the keys and a quick tour. She even provided some essential items like coffee, snacks & ice cream :) She makes herself available if needed during your stay.
The house was very clean, charming & had plenty of room. There are 3 floors (plus a deck), so if you have issues with stairs be aware. We had an almost 2 year old with us & the stairs were not an issue. The house had off street parking which was very convenient. It also had a rooftop deck which was great for a little outdoor privacy. It really came in handy for watching the Labor Day fireworks. The neighborhood was fine, we never felt unsafe. There are some characters walking around, but nothing unusual for a downtown city area.
If you are thinking of visiting Cincinnati I would highly recommend this property for your stay. Thanks for everything Lisa!"

"Wanted to try boating in the Sandusky area and needed a place on the water for ease of handling with the boat. We found Tammy's Boathouse and were completely satisfied with everything. Like other reviews have said... a little sketchy at first as you pull up, looks like a bunch of storage facilities. But trust me when that is where it ends. Walking thru the door and going upstairs and eventually up on the roof top patios... will put you in a complete state of relaxation. Everything is thought of and taken care of. Clean and well equipped. Unless you have something special you need to cook with... leave everything at home because the boathouse has it.
BOATERS >>> The pull in boathouse is a dream come true. Open the garage door and pull right in. I can't even explain how awesome it was to just pull right in tie off and go upstairs to relax on the patios. Battery Park has a launch ramp just across the harbor for a small launch fee or the city has a new ramp for free but is about a 3-5 minute boat ride. Both are easy to find and use. Battery Park has secure storage for your trailer and took real good care of us."

"A completely adorable cottage was the perfect place for my friends and I to spend a long weekend! The view was truly out-of-this-world, a crimson sunset, and super easy steps that lead you down to the beach. There is a great Italian restaurant right up the road, tons of great local independent wineries, and a retro-vintage Geneva-on-the-Lake for a fun night out. The house was totally clean with nautical decorations, and the furniture, while not completely perfect, did not take away from the incredible view and location, with lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the weather and water! You can't beat this place, it's such a gorgeous view of Lake Erie - I can't wait to return soon!"
