"Wanted to try boating in the Sandusky area and needed a place on the water for ease of handling with the boat. We found Tammy's Boathouse and were completely satisfied with everything. Like other reviews have said... a little sketchy at first as you pull up, looks like a bunch of storage facilities. But trust me when that is where it ends. Walking thru the door and going upstairs and eventually up on the roof top patios... will put you in a complete state of relaxation. Everything is thought of and taken care of. Clean and well equipped. Unless you have something special you need to cook with... leave everything at home because the boathouse has it.
BOATERS >>> The pull in boathouse is a dream come true. Open the garage door and pull right in. I can't even explain how awesome it was to just pull right in tie off and go upstairs to relax on the patios. Battery Park has a launch ramp just across the harbor for a small launch fee or the city has a new ramp for free but is about a 3-5 minute boat ride. Both are easy to find and use. Battery Park has secure storage for your trailer and took real good care of us."

"We held our annual sister's weekend in May at this lovely lake house. All of us were impressed with the cleanliness of the house. The house provided ample space to socialize as well as have quiet time. We especially enjoyed sitting along the beach and chatting. Fred and Kelly were very easy to work with. We particularly enjoyed learning of their family history by the many photographs displayed throughout the house. Overall, everyone enjoyed this visit and plan to visit again next year."

"We arrived for out little get-away and were greeted by the owners Mark and Teresa...We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked into the cottage. The pictures do not do it justice. It is exceptionally clean, very nicely decorated and very functional. I walk with a cane, so having everything on one floor made it a keeper for us. The beds were very comfortable, there are window air conditioners in both bedrooms and the living room, so no need for central air--it was quite comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc. The pantry has basic necessities that you would need for your stay. If you want to relax outside, there are plenty of chairs and tables to do so. We cooked a little inside, but made use of the gas grill outside as well. We had such a relaxing time, we did not want to leave. The area is so quiet and the neighbor down the road stopped by to say "Hi" and asked us if we needed anything. Our little dog Puggles had a great relaxing time (for some reason, she Loved the rug in front of the kitchen sink). We will be back for many more visits. Thank you both again for sharing your cottage with us!"
