"My 5 young adult children and I had a wonderful stay here right on the shore of Lake Erie. The home was extremely well equipped for a wonderful stay, It even has a bicycle built for two to use! The decor was so well done, mixing nautical theme with well established local family history of the area. It is located a short 2 blocks away from all of vermilion's quaintness. It was spacious and had a friendly vibe. Thanks so much for a memorable stay! The owners are very reliable and easy to work with."

  • Great location and condo

"We were looking for something reasonably priced, yet comfortable and close to the Columbus Zoo. Mission accomplished! Our family of four enjoyed staying here 3 nights and really appreciated the close proximity to area attractions. The zoo was GREAT too. We saved your VRBO listing number and will definitely stay again! Thank you!"

  • My First Review

"I don't usually take the time to fill out a review, but this is an exception. I have been coming to Ashtabula for some 15 years to walleye and perch fish. Always staying at an area motel. You know how they can be at times. About 4 years ago my boat captain told me about The River View, so I decided to give them a call. What a difference!!! I along with my fishing partners and grandsons have enjoyed every stay. The location is perfect, only 2 minutes from the boat. It is the most relaxing place and is always as clean as a pin. Instead of being stuck in a motel when not out fishing or eating, we have all enjoyed the quiet relaxing time setting outside watching the boat traffic or even playing corn-hole out in the yard. We have come to know the owners also. What nice people they are and they are the type that I want to spend my money with, not a chain motel where the people could care less who you are. Well, I could go on & on but I'll just tell you that this is a great place to stay, with people who will become your friends and do everything to make your stay a pleasant one. My Name Is Matt And I Approve This Message !!!"

"This vacation rental was everything we had hoped it would be! The house was exactly like the pictures (even better), immaculate, and very well stocked with everything one would need. Ours was a multi-generational family vacation, and having bedrooms on different floors was ideal. The beach was wonderful, along with the playground area for the grandkids. It was very private and just a short walk from the house. Neighborhood was quiet and the people were very friendly. We would love to come back again in the future. Thanks VRBO for the perfect family vacation!!"
