"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maplewood. It was a wonderful, relaxing setting. We took advantage of good access to Holmes county and also the nearby hiking and canoeing. Our grandchildren (all under 3) thoroughly enjoyed the house, the outdoors, and especially the spring pump with the self-emptying pail. All utilities and appliances worked without any problems. We didn't find any lack of supplies or tools. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars were the dirty windows and other areas of the home that were not up to our cleanliness expectations. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again."

"Another mom and I stayed here with our daughters for a week-long dance competition nearby. The condo had everything we needed or could possibly need, and we fit two adults and four kids very comfortably. We loved the pool and hot tub just outside our door--we could watch the girls swimming from the master bedroom window! The view from the balcony is beautiful and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We spent the Labor Day weekend at the home and it was fantastic! We arrived and found the home to be near immaculate and we were ready to enjoy our stay.
The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped. A nice living and dining area compliment the other areas. Having the needed sheets and towels already there were a bonus. They were clean and cozy.
The downstairs level with games and the hot tub were a lot of fun as well.
We loved the private beach and spent hours enjoying it. Just playing in the water, skipping rocks, searching for beach glass and shells, bonfires, etc.
Just enjoying the sights and sounds of the waves were great too.
The town itself was small but nice. Most everything closes up at 5/6 P.M. so get there during the day.
One note for those with young children or who are light sleepers: the nearby train tracks are very busy at all times of the day and the train whistles do blare often. We'd recommend bringing along a fan to use while sleeping to cover up the horn/whistle a bit.
Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We would definitely consider staying again! Maybe for a bit longer next time. Thank you Dan and Judy for a great stay!"
