"After getting tired of the 3+ hour drive to Hocking Hills, our group decided to look for properties closer to home. I have rented all but one of Doug's space(s) the past 5 years, and most of my friends enjoy this space the most. The open space, the views, and the spectacular fireplace make it a place where we can come together to celebrate the new year, or get together for a girls' weekend. I recommend his properties for anyone who asks!"

"We stayed here for three nights in July. We've stayed up at the lakes in three different places (Huron twice and Catawba). This condo was by far the nicest and had the best views. We could just sit outside and watch the boats every day. Every year my husband's side of the family does a family vacation, and this place worked out great. There were 12 people (which is hard to find a place to accommodate all of us, but we hate to be split up because with young ones, we don't really get a chance to catch up until after the kids go to bed). We loved the views and the location was great. The condo was the only condo that we've stayed in that went beyond the basics of supplies. They had food in the cupboards (we had packed our own), but was so nice! The pool was heated, so even on a cool, rainy day, the kids had a blast in the pool. The kids loved the x-Boxes, and so did the parents because once we were inside, the kids definitely stayed occupied! Sharon and Bob were great. Bob met us and showed us around. Sharon was sweet as ever as after we returned from our trip, we realized that our son had left his I-pod there, but we had no idea where. Sharon found it and sent it back to us right away. Great place to stay!"

"The condo was as advertised in that the kitchen is fully stocked. It was extremely clean and all the little things that one forgets to bring like toilet paper, dish soap, and even shampoo was there as well as a box fan. Tom met us at our requested time to let us check in and was helpful with information about the area.
The condo was very secure in that you have to go through a locked gate to get into the community and then through a locked exterior door as well.
We had two complaints while we stayed. The fold out sofa is in no way suitable to sleep on. The mattress on it is maybe 3 inches thick and it's full of springs and you're able to feel each and every one of them as well as the bar that is in your back when you lay down. We were not able to use it and my friend and I that traveled together shared the one bed which was very firm but suitable. This condo is a good size but would only sleep 4 if you brought an air mattress or if they were to replace the mattress on the fold out loveseat.
The other issue we had was that on our last night there the a/c stopped working. We called Tom and he promptly came out to see what he could do. He couldn't resolve the issue because no maintenance staff was on duty but he offered to bring us fans and apologized many times. He clearly did all he could and we understood that.
There are a few antique stores within walking distance and a few restaurants. We drove to other areas for most of our entertainment. If someone wanted to go to Cedar Point or take the ferry to the island this is a great location for that!"
