  • AWESOME

"My 5 young adult children and I had a wonderful stay here right on the shore of Lake Erie. The home was extremely well equipped for a wonderful stay, It even has a bicycle built for two to use! The decor was so well done, mixing nautical theme with well established local family history of the area. It is located a short 2 blocks away from all of vermilion's quaintness. It was spacious and had a friendly vibe. Thanks so much for a memorable stay! The owners are very reliable and easy to work with."

  • Great rental, even in Fall

"The house, amenities, and property are exactly as stated by previous reviewers. Lovely house with outstanding lake views and very clean!!! As opposed to the other reviews, however, we had a Fall stay, and really enjoyed a pot of soup on the stove, football on the tv, lake views, playing pool, the hot tub, reading, hot tea and cider on the deck, and had it not been so windy, a fire on the beach. While we could see how the house would be great in the summer, our stay in autumn weather was terrific as well. Dan was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and seemed to be a genuinely nice person. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!"

  • Cozy and cute

"Totally enjoyed my week at this sweet little cottage. Ellen and John were very nice and I even got to meet some of their family. John made a fire on July 4th and we watched the fireworks over the lake. Searched for sea glass on the three beaches and enjoyed my day visiting the wineries. My favorite part was the swing looking out over the lake, it was so relaxing. All in all a very relaxing week."

  • Pleasant & Always So

"The B&B is in two different buildings. The main building is a traditional very large two story lake house. All remodeled and updated. The house likely is near 100 years of age... quite pleasant. We like reserving the seperate stand alone unit that is beside the main house and its multiple guest rooms. The stand alone is one large room with kitchenette-wet bar and full bath. Breakfast is at a local restaurant an easy (about 3 minute) walk or if weather is bad parking is easy at both B&B and Restaurant. THis is centrally located so a walk to great dining is easy short and the town is pleasant. The lake is near enough, maybe 3 minute walk, maybe about 5 minutes, and the bay is right there too. Enjoy. We have now on three different weekends."
