  • Wonderful Owners Eager to Share this Labor of Love with Their Guests

"We just rented this property for a family vacation. My wife and I, two of our daughters and their husbands, and two grandchildren had a most memorable stay here. We rented the entire guest house at the rear of the property. The property is older (built on an old winery), and John and Chrissy are pouring their heart and soul into making it one of the best places to rent on KI. We were close enough to town to enjoy all the festivities, yet far enough away to feel comfortably secluded as we sat on the private beach around a fire each evening. This was our first family get away with the young grandkids. We thought about going to the Outer Banks, but decided Lake Erie might be a better first choice. We are so happy we made that decision. We'll be back again, for sure! In fact, my wife and I are already talking about just the two of us booking there when we need a short R&R. The lower level studio in the guest house is perfect for that!"

  • Home Away From Home!

"We love this condo! Finding this lovely place to stay was a real bonus for our yearly trip to Port Clinton in May. The unit is extremely clean and comfortable and being located on the first floor makes it even better. There also is the added bonus of being across the street from Lake Erie along with a marina on site to view for a nightly stroll. Lori is the perfect owner; always available for questions and ready to do whatever it takes to make our stay the very best. We really feel we have found our "home away from home!""

  • Great value, great fishing, great time!

"This year was the second year in a row that I stayed at Bay's Edge and fished with Mark 1 Sportfishing. Both years we caught our limit of walleyes, and both years my group of guys were thoroughly impressed with the accommodations. Already, I have been asked to coordinate another trip with Bay's Edge and Mark 1 Sportfising for 2015. Talking with Mark, you sense the pride he has in owning a business with outstanding customer service. Deb is extremely helpful, patient, and provides responses to questions quickly. The townhomes are clean, spacious, and convenient. Having seven twin beds is great for a group of guys planning to take a fishing charter. If you are planning a Lake Erie fishing trip, I strongly recommend staying at Bay's Edge and fishing with Mark 1 Sportfishing."
