  • Cabin was great!

"Really enjoyed our 10 day stay,my 9 year old grandauther just loved the loft. She said it felt like she had her own woman cave. She loved the veiw in the morning as the sun came up.I have stayed here before and have found the cabin allways look well taken care of.Close to everything, town, bike trail,Moose and Eagle lodges and you can fish right off the deck. This year they expanded the living quarters and we found it even better with the extra room.I would recommend this place to anyone.kathy and Jerrie have allways made our stay a plesent one and we look forward to our next stay. • The Village Guesthouse exceeds expectations!

"My recent stay at The Village Guesthouse was a delight from beginning to end. The accommodations were even more homey and cozy when I actually arrived than I had imagined from the pictures--it is rare when reality exceeds the advertised. Patti and Marianne have clearly put a lot of thought and work into their Guesthouse. It was clean and sparkling and every door I opened held another thoughtful addition. Nothing was missing, including Patti's fascinating video about Yellow Springs! I will certainly recommend The Village Guesthouse to any of my friend's. The house is large enough to suit many types and groups of guests but cozy enough for one. Yellow Springs seems to be a wonderful place to visit and I look forward to a return trip when the weather and my time will allow a more thorough investigation. Three cheers to Patti and Marianne and their wonderful hospitality."

  • What a view!

"We just returned from a great stay at this cottage. The photos shown are a very good representation of the interior. The other two bedrooms, not shown, one single - one double or queen (can't remember because we didn't use them) are small, but adequate. The bedding and towels were nice quality, and the master was very comfortable. There's a lake view from the master bdrm as well. The bathroom is small, but again adequate with a great shower head! :) The cottage was well equipped and clean. The yard facing the lake was large with no fences between neighbors. There are stairs that lead to a landing with a fire pit on the lake. Nice, but the stairs are a bit treacherous. Just use the hand rail. This property is in a neighborhood and close to other homes, but we did not find this an issue. The landscaping could use a little TLC, but could be the time of year. We would stay here again. Also had a chance to see the 1 bdrm right beside, which was equally nice. Kate, the owner is very accomodating."

"We are originally from the area and were very happy to find a location that is convenient to everything yet remote enough to allow for a relaxing visit. This condo is very clean and beautifully decorated. It offers great views and convenience to everything in the area."
