  • Four Day Get Away

"My family had a wonderful time and the weather couldn't have been nicer. We visited the wineries and the boys went golfing every day. We did alot of reminiscing since my sisters and bother had come to Geneva every year for 18 years when we were growing up. The house was very clean and walking distance to Lake Rd and just a short drive to all the wineries and good food."

  • Green Briar Ridge - Absolutely Beautiful!

"My husband and I just stayed at Green Briar Ridge for several days and loved our experience there (some of our kids joined us for the last night of our stay). This home is very private, sitting on 25 acres well off the road. The serene setting was perfect for a little quiet relaxation. We used both the row boat and paddle boat on the lake behind the home, walked the driveway loop around the lake as well as some of the mown paths through the meadows and woods. It is really a stunning place inside and out. The home was more spacious that I anticipated, and was decorated tastefully. The furniture throughout the home appears to have been lovingly chosen; it is gorgeous to look at and very solid, especially the bedroom set in the master and the great room furniture. There are many details the owner has thought of in this home, including the well stocked kitchen, nightlights in appropriate places for kids who might be nervous away from home, bikes for the kids to ride, fans on the porches which help keep the humid air and bugs at bay, and benches to sit on in the bedroom to dress. Typically we find this kind of place way out away from all conveniences, but not Green Briar. It is within 8 minutes of a super Walmart, so getting groceries and finding places to eat is no problem. We had great fun in Roscoe Village, the Raven's Glen Winery, riding the historic Canal Boat, and playing with the kids at the Lake Park Aquatic Center and playground. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a peaceful retreat and spending time with nature, but with the necessary creature comforts of a lovely home."

  • Mixed Feelings

"The condo was very nice and was accurate regarding its location description and the pictures are accurate also. I would have referred this property because of its location, view, and actual condo BUT we had some issues. First, the master bath had hairs in the bottom of the shower and hairs on the sink when we checked in. Second, we came to relax so when other guests kept us up Friday and Saturday night, we were not happy. Saturday night we called the property manager 6 times and supposedly the cops came out 3 times. The bass from the stereo next door vibrated our condo from 3 to 6 am and then began again at 930 am. No one seemed to care. Natalie said she would make things right and would be to talk to us before we left. We never seen her!!"

  • Wonderful time! Great House!

"My family and I, 9 of us, booked this house for Spring Break. This house is absolutely amazing! Every detail of the house is well-thought out and impeccable. Plenty of room for all of us. The downstairs game area was a great place to hang out. Plus my father-in-law had his own place to be when we were elsewhere throughout the house. The elevator really came in handy for him! The hot tub was a big hit with everyone! The owners were more than accommodating when it went on the fritz the first morning. Got it up and running immediately and didn't have an issue the rest of the week. I can't say enough about how beautiful this house is. I do concur with other reviews when people say use the second driveway (not the one by the garbage dumpster) We didn't have any problems, but depending on your vehicle and time of year, you may. The owners were super easy and nice to work with. If we're ever in Hocking Hills again, we would stay her for sure!"
