  • Big Chill "4 day extravaganza"

"4 High School buddys & their wives had a blast. We only stayed 4 nights but we knew we wanted to do this again because of "The Glass House" offering. 2 couples drove from metro-Detroit, 1 from Indianapolis & 1 from Allentown, PA. We really enjoyed the house, Lake Erie was handy & excellent. So close to Cedar Point but we never went but we did eat perch most days. The reviews previous to mine are right on target but the main point of my review is this is perfect place for 4 couples. God bless your vacation."

  • One of our favorite family vacations!!

"We had a great time. We recently bought Sea Doos & it was the perfect location to take them out every day. The inlet with the wave runner docks made it very convenient. Our 12 year old & our 16 year old both loved our stay. We were out on the water all day & in the evening we went to Cedar Point when the crowds were gone. We also had relaxing bon fires by the water. The house was very clean & comfortable. It had everything we needed. The owners made us feel right at home. They are very kind people that sincerely wanted our family to have a good time. We plan to go back. We already miss the bay."

  • Nice, large house in a great location.

"I stayed for 5 nights with my wife and 3 small children. The house was perfect for us. It's large with a couple of living areas and an ample kitchen. The front and back yards are huge and nicely maintained; a great place for our kids (and their cousins) to play. I felt very safe in the neighborhood; it's gorgeous and quiet, with giant old trees and very little traffic. The house itself was very clean and well-maintained. It's clearly been added on to, as some rooms have a different character from others. But it worked very well for us. The master bedroom was very spacious and pretty far from the bedrooms our kids used. That worked out well for us; for a family with an infant who needs help in the night, it might be less convenient if you plan on putting the baby in a separate room. The only problem we had was an internet outage just after we arrived, and Mike quickly contacted the cable company and took care of it. We had a wonderful time and we'd probably choose this house again for our next visit. Thanks, Mike!"
