  • PERFECT, SPACIOUS RESPITE IN AMISH COUNTRY

"My husband and I were looking for a quiet retreat in Amish Country. Blossom Suite at Apple Hill was a perfect respite. The rooms were spacious, comfortably furnished with lots of ambent light from large windows, and the rooms and setting were extremely inviting. I've stayed in a number of five-star hotels through the years, and none compared to the comfort of this suite. All the rooms were immaculately clean, and the large, modern bathroom was gorgeous. Our hosts were most gracious, giving us a guide to all the activities, restaurants, auctions, etc. in the Millersburg area. As a writer, I was very pleased to have a very quiet setting in which to work, and my husband spent many hours in local Amish bicycle shops, antique shops, and stores. The fully furnished kitchen at Apple Hill had all the utensils and modern appliances we could need to dine in the suite, but we chose to go out in the evenings to the local, homestyle restaurants. A large, high-resolution TV provided a sharp view of our favorite evening programs. A DVD player was another entertainment feature that allowed families or couples the opportunity to enjoy individualized programming. We had a few neighbors coming and going in adjacent suites, but the construction of the house is so sound, we were barely aware of their presence. I was able to concentrate on my writing with no interruptions. Apple Hill is very convenient to the paved biking trail in Millersburg. We had packed our bicycles and rode the trail in the early evenings before going to dinner. If you want to be treated well by very cordial hosts in a lovely country setting, Apple Hill is a peaceful, spacious option that feels better than home!"

  • Great Location and SUPER Clean

"I loved being right at the east edge of the strip better than right in the middle. It seemed less congested and being on that side was only a 10 minute walk east to Township Park with free summer concerts on Tuesdays. A short ride to the lodge by the state park which has a great 2 mile paved hiking/biking trail; that goes past the beach. Katie's Korner is great for ice cream and Mary's Kitchen is a must and super value for any meal!!! The house itself has a wonderful added sitting/reading/quiet room off the downstairs master bedroom. The roomy screened in front porch added so much additional space for "spreading out" and people watching!!! A++ and I highly recommend."

  • A Lovely Home

"This very cute 2 story home was a perfect place to stay while working for 3 weeks in Dayton. An easy walk to the Schuster Center, bars, restaurants and the Oregon District. Plenty of room for parking, a comfortable living room and nice well stocked kitchen. The owners are also very helpful and quick to respond to any and all questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
