  • Will Stay Again

"My grandparents grew up in Little Italy and I wanted to explore my heritage. I really enjoyed staying in this cute apartment that is within walking distance to everything. I felt very comfortable and safe."

  • Guilford Girls

"The "Guilford Girls" were back again to enjoy our yearly get away. The Beach House is the most amazing place we have stayed....and it is in our backyards. We just feel so at home there. This year was too cold for us to go in the lake, so we just sat around and ate, talked and shared a few cocktails. Thanks George and Linda for another wonderful experience!!!"

  • Great Location On Lake Erie.....

"My husband and I have family in Vermilion Ohio. We decided to visit Labor Day week. I went right to VRBO looking for a one bedroom cottage on Lake Erie near Vermilion. My search lead me to Kate's home located in a community called, Vermilion on The Lake.. I called Kate when I saw it was open for the dates we wanted, we confirmed things on the phone and booked our week. Prior to our arrival I called Kate to find out if there was a fitness center or a YMCA near by. Kate was helpful and gave me the good news that there was a YMCA five minutes away and a fitness center 10 minutes away Upon our arrival Don ( Kate's Husband) stopped by to be sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was cozy and has a great patio overlooking Lake Erie with a huge picnic table which was great for the family picnic we had on Labor Day.. To our surprise there was a little country store right across the street , great for last minute ice, soda, ice cream etc... A short walk was a private beach for this little community the cottage is located in... The near by neighbors were very friendly and took some family pictures for our family of 6 on labor day... Upon our arrival we also found a basket of gourmet coffee and tea packages and some fresh danish... yum... The bath towels were really big, soft and great for the many showers we took with the hot week we arrived to.. The kitchen had all the things we needed to put together our lobster bake for our visiting family... We even had an a/c in the living area and a separate one in the bedroom. Best of all were the wonderful breezes coming off Lake Erie and the beautiful views... Paul & Doris from the Finger Lakes in New York"

  • Family Vacation

"Me and my family planned a trip to Lake Erie/Cedar Point and found this little gem to stay for the week. It was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. It was nice to have a fully stocked kitchen. It kept us from having to eat out every meal. Getting in and out of Cedar Point so easily is a nice bonus if that's part of your plans while there. For the most part, the house was clean and tidy. Had a little bit of an issue with spider webs and spiders throughout the house. And I thought one of the upstairs beds had not had the sheets changed. All in all it was a perfect little getaway for us and we definitely plan on returning next year!"
