  • fantastic get-away

"What a great house, perfect setting and great lake access. We had two families with grown kids (all in 20s) to relax, wakeboard, grill or just read a book. The dock access (covered slip) attracted us since we brought our own boat. The rest of the house will bring us back. Helen, the house keeper is fantastic. She had sandwiches for us when we arrived and even catered a meal for us during the week."

  • Relaxing and comfortable with cozy, eclectic decor.

"We stayed for two nights - 3 adults, a teenager and a 7-year-old. All were very comfortable. The cabin is layed out nicely, with plenty of space and seating all around. The kitchen was well-stocked, so if you want to cook meals you'll be all set with all the pots and pans you'll need. Furnishings were comfortable and in great condition, as was the bathroom and everything else in the cabin. The decor was fun, eclectic and tasteful, with good quality furniture and lots of handmade goods and photographs/maps of local attractions. We all really enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the constant (in mid-July) strong breeze. We saw lots of lizards, quail and other birds, and unusual insects, but fortunately no rattlesnakes, which we were warned to watch for. My 7-year-old was content to play in the area right around the cabin, including climbing the rocks and swinging on the hammock. My teen enjoyed longboarding on the area roads, although he warns to bring a tool or tighten your trucks in advance for a smoother ride. ;) We loved the cabin. The only downside was a lack of anything to do in the immediate vicinity (walking distance), but with so much to drive to in driving distance, we'd happily return!"

  • Great Cabin for 2

"Great little cabin in a wooded area. Cozy and just right for 2. Great deck for relaxing and watching nature. Super clean and decorated nicely. I would stay again. Only negative was that there were no dressers or area to put your luggage and belonging... but it was not a big issue. As stated, we plan to stay again at either this cabin or one of the other Heartpine Hollow Cabins :)"

  • Perfect Location

"This home is located a few minutes from the major highways, close to local stores & gas stations etc. Provides a place to come "home" to while vacationing in a very nice neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and the convenience. We'll be back! Thank you : )"
