  • Serendipity

"Very pleasantly surprised. Location was great and nice view from porch to lake. Calling this property a cabin doesn't do it justice, It was clean, convenient and the amenities were all there."

  • House was great

"This is the nicest house I have ever stayed at on the lake. The view was great and the secluded location was perfect. The house is brand new! I hope we get a chance to stay there again. Great time at the lake with friends."

  • Great family house!

"We had a great time with our family staying at your lake house. There was plenty of room and things to do for people from ages 5 to 72! The property was very clean and well maintained. There were plenty of supplies and all kinds of toys for the kiddos. The Adairs were nothing but friendly, nice and hospitable. Definitely will be back on our next trip to Lake Arbuckle!"

  • Relaxing and comfortable with cozy, eclectic decor.

"We stayed for two nights - 3 adults, a teenager and a 7-year-old. All were very comfortable. The cabin is layed out nicely, with plenty of space and seating all around. The kitchen was well-stocked, so if you want to cook meals you'll be all set with all the pots and pans you'll need. Furnishings were comfortable and in great condition, as was the bathroom and everything else in the cabin. The decor was fun, eclectic and tasteful, with good quality furniture and lots of handmade goods and photographs/maps of local attractions. We all really enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the constant (in mid-July) strong breeze. We saw lots of lizards, quail and other birds, and unusual insects, but fortunately no rattlesnakes, which we were warned to watch for. My 7-year-old was content to play in the area right around the cabin, including climbing the rocks and swinging on the hammock. My teen enjoyed longboarding on the area roads, although he warns to bring a tool or tighten your trucks in advance for a smoother ride. ;) We loved the cabin. The only downside was a lack of anything to do in the immediate vicinity (walking distance), but with so much to drive to in driving distance, we'd happily return!"
