  • Gorgeous, secluded getaway

"Chillin' cabin is nestled away in a little wooded area and is very private. It is adorably furnished with bears in one room and deer in the other. My husband and I went in halves with my sister and her husband to have a weekend getaway and go to the lake. I was pleased to find the way the rooms were set up didn't make it feel as if one has "all" the amenities. The room with the double bed has a bathroom attached, and the room with the king size bed utilizes the hall bath. This made the rooms more equal - neither was 'better' than the other. There is a nice charcoal grill next to the fire-pit and furnishings on the front porch for outdoor dining. There are two cabins nearby, but the woods between give the feeling of complete seclusion. This is a beautiful cabin with much more than I anticipated. Once on the property there is plenty of gravel area for parking and maneuvering, although I have one word of caution - If you bring a boat be very careful turning into the driveway (rt. turn) as the culvert is situated too far to the left. It is a tight navigation and a deep ditch. Chillin' cabin will definitely be our top choice on our next trip to Broken Bow."

  • Grand Lake Retreat

"We enjoyed our week at Grand Lake. We had three couples, four kids and a grandmother and we had lots of room in this large home. Everybody had a bedroom and bathroom to call their own. The views of the lake were very nice although it was a little difficult to enjoy the patio because the bugs were fairly agressive. A couple of cans of wasp spray improved the situation. The house is well equipped, with all the necessary kitchen equipment, Wi-Fi, lots of towels, two fridges, washer and dryer, etc. The house was older than I expected, although clean and well maintained. The location is about 15 minutes from Grove and the nearest Wal-mart and grocery. All of the recreation in the area focuses on lake activities as you might expect. We tried to take a ride on the riverboat tour of the lake but it was only available one day a week after we left. Seems like there is an opportunity for someone to start a minature golf park or something similar. Grand Lake is best enjoyed with a boat. We rented a pontoon boat from the house owners at a reasonable price for a couple of days and got out on the lake. Lake access is somewhat limited from the house. It is a steep walk of about a hundred yards and there is no proper "beach" area for swimming. After a little brush clearing we were able to make a space for the kids to swim. The boat dock was about a half mile walk and provided a good place for the little boys to catch perch. The owners were very nice and available at any time if needed. I would recommend this rental to others."

  • Wonderful in every way!!

"We picked this cabin for our annual camp for our grandkids and we could not be more pleased with the location, the layout, and everything in the cabin. Kitchen is well-appointed and there were plenty tables inside and out to make our stay comfortable for all 11 of us. The TV's were good and we had plenty hot water and bathroom space. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was used for Smores. The owner was helpful by answering my questions about the area and just being approachable and friendly. Loved every minute and would highly recommend!"

  • We had a great time!

"We really enjoyed our time at Grandlake staying in this lovely house. My kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the boat dock. We were right on the lake, yet very close to the town. I highly recommend this rental."
