"Our extended family (23 overnighters) enjoyed a great Thanksgiving weekend, celebrating our matriarch's 90th birthday. With 2 complete kitchens and 2 eating areas, we had our choice of cooking and eating options. With a game room downstairs, the children and young people had options for their preferred activities. High chairs and guard gates stood ready to accommodate the toddlers. Table games and walking on the beach (even in the stormy weather) rounded out a great time of visiting and loving. Even when we invited more distant relatives and friends to join us on Saturday, we enjoyed plenty of space for conversation and snacking. Perhaps one of the best benefits was that Jason was always available by phone to answer questions and give directions.
Caution: There are many stairways. Fortunately, our mother is still very healthy for 90y/o. But because of various health issues, some of our guests were unable to get to the top story during our Saturday fellowship."

"We really enjoyed this vacation rental. I love that there was 3 levels, and the living room on the middle level. I love that there was no carpet on the 2nd the 3rd levels. It was very spacious, and just a short walk (one block) to the beach. We have young kids and I love how kid proof the house was, and they loved the upstairs bath with the view! The huge master upstairs with all the beds was a great treat. We would love to come back. Thanks Nancy for working with us!"

"This rental is by far the best we have stayed in so far! Rental is super close to beach, you can hear the ocean from the bedrooms/living room even with the windows shut! There is a trail very close down to the beach, or you can take the trail south to Yachats State Park, or the cute downtown area of Yachats. There are also tide pools within a short walk! This house has everything you could possibly want on vacation and more! Everything is clean, well cared for, and well stocked. The house is actually set up so three couples could stay, with individual bedrooms all with their own bath! We liked the layout of the living area on the 2nd floor, with one of the bedrooms and bath located on this level. Small touches like slippers and robes provided, beach toys, movies, books, games, and extra living room with wood stove makes this house great for a large family or multiple couples. The owner is very responsive and attentive from booking through departure. We will definitely come again!"

"This house is a nice little place to come enjoy the Oregon coast from. It is close to the ocean although it is a little high up on a bluff and you will need to walk down some gradual concrete steps....Or, you can drive over to the next street and park your car if there is a spot and just walk down a smaller incline. The deck is awesome to just soak up the sun when the beach is too cold and windy. This is a historical home dating from 1905, so it has plenty of charm. I was able to bring my small dog which I appreciated so much! We found our way to the fudge and ice cream shop right away...what lovely little shops and restaurants. The owner forwarded me a link to the history of Nye Beach which was nice to do and I enjoyed reading all about it. No amenities were lacking at this beachfront home."
