"Great place to stay. The home has everything needed to make your stay accommodating all you need is food. We love that it is pet friendly and the studio is a bonus. It is walking distance to the beach, a 15 minute drive south to Depoe Bay where the guys going charter fishing and crabbing and 15 minutes north to Lincoln City to go shopping at the Outlet Mall or walk around to all the shops."

"House is in a great location and easy to find. Neighborhood is quiet and you can hear the ocean from the house. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The view of the lighthouse can only be seen from the furthest north windows, but most windows have an ocean view of some sort. The walk to the beach is a bit steep, but within reasonable distance for even toddlers. Tile work was great and the decor was beachy without overdoing it. A few issues we had were no room had a working dvd player. The one that was there could not be hooked up to the tv due to outdated cords, and even then it struggled to work. It appeared the cleaning staff did not finish or something because cleaning equipment was left out and chairs and stools were piled on top of the counters and table. They even left their glass of water on the counter. The blinds need replacing badly. Most would get stuck in a position and were hard to move back. Also, the gas stove was in need of repair so cooking was a challenge and the ice/water dispenser was also broken. It also gets quite bright in the main room so sitting on the couch and/or watching tv is difficult. Blinds or film on the higher windows would be nice. None of these issues were major for us, but I would have expected less problems for a house of this caliber and price. We liked the house and would give it a higher rating if they could correct the maintenance issues."

"We took 6 teens with us to this house and as soon as they walked into the house they were so excited. They all stayed downstairs, close to the wifi, and would come upstairs to eat and play pingpong. My husband and I were able to enjoy some relaxing time upstairs. Loved being able to lay in bed in the morning and watch the waves crash on the rocks. Spent a lot of time on the deck too. It felt just like home. A week later we all keep talking about how we wish we were still there."

"Our week at The View was so peaceful and relaxing. We watched the waves breaking on the rocks for hours at a time, and we saw whales on two afternoons! We cooked every night in the well-equipped kitchen, and when bedtime came we fell into the comfy beds and slept like children. A real plus is the personal check-in by John and friendly conversations with C. B. We have been renting on the coast for over ten years and have never met an owner before! The View gets my highest recommendation, and we hope to return."
