  • Stay at Starry Starry NIght

"The house is very pretty and we loved the old fashioned detailing of the design. It does sleep 11. the draw back is the living area is too small for that many or even 8 for us with 6 adults and two small children. Not enough seating/space for a large group to gather. The hot tub is nice but the backyard could use cleaning up, some plants or something. I would stay again if it was just 2 to three couples. Just not the greatest fit for toddlers for space to play. Perhaps put a play area in the open space upstairs, like a TV, DVR, games and maybe some board games. maybe day bed/trundle to replace two twins and a chair or two or small table. The third bedroom could use a TV. The upstairs larger bedroom had a tv but the remote wasn't the right one so we couldn't use it. Also the heater in the loft area didn't work, otherwise it's a great private space for guests. The one main problem we had was while getting grandkids down my two daughter were quietly sitting in the hot tub and it was about 10 after 10 pm when the neighbor directly behind came up shinning a spot light on the girls telling them to get in the house, claimed to be a sheriff and he'd call the police on us. My husband talked to him a bit and he admitted he wasn't a sheriff but stated we weren't allowed to be outside after 10 pm etc.. I was in the master putting one of the little's to sleep, the hot tub is directly behind the master and I couldn't hear the kids at all. This mans house is a couple hundred yards down the hill and seriously doubt he could hear the jets or the two young women talking (22, and 24) We had noticed him on and off that day prior outside his home drinking and that eve. we believe he was drunk. Looking at the guest book it appears this has been an issue before. Perhaps this neighbor has a problem with rental units near his house??? He ended up calling one of your mangers and I got a call. By that time it was 10:45pm and everyone had gotten out of the hot tub. It seems sad that guest have to worry about sitting out back and listening to the ocean and enjoying the evening when they are not talking anywhere near beyond a reasonable level. Loved a lot of things about the house. Has a nice assortment of cookware so you can make family size meals. A lot of rental aren't so well equipped with cookware. Decorated nicely."

  • space for the whole family (6 adults and 2 children)

"Our family was so comfortable in the Crow's Nest. We were able to enjoy the view of the ocean and felt lucky to get some sunny weather to explore the beach. The space allowed us to hang out together, play games, and feast on good food. The kitchen had everything we required. My two girls loved being up in the loft area and the pullout couch."

  • Fantastic getaway! So close to the ocean!

"It was still warm in October when we arrived and we enjoyed some fantastic days of sun and beach. The property is conveniently located at walking distance from restaurants and a grocery store. We even enjoyed a farmers market nearby! Walking to the beach was also a very short walk and we enjoyed it so much. Local people were very nice too. The property was very clean and super cozy. We felt at home as soon as we arrived and we slept in very comfortable beds. It had everything we needed to make our meals and we also loved the history of the house. Overall we couldn't be any happier with our stay. Communications with the owner's before our arrival was smooth and fast. We didn't need to talk to the owners during our stay as everything was perfect. We recommend this location to anybody that seeks a wonderful stay in this beautiful area."

  • An Outstanding Property

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Deja Vu is a unique property, down a secluded driveway. It has perhaps 200 feet of direct ocean frontage, across a large lawn. It abuts rocks, not sand. The house is huge, and easily accommodates 8 people, but only has 2 full baths. It is the most fully-equipped vacation home I have ever stayed in. The decor is somewhat dated, and there is no hot tub, but it is otherwise an excellent choice for a vacation. I would gladly stay there again."
