"We stayed here 6 nights with 2 families with 4 children aged 12 to 15 yrs old. We used the futon in the upstairs porch as a bedroom. The children loved the extra living room upstairs and especially the pool table and the table soccer game in the garage! Kitchen is complete with all possible utensils. No airco but you do not need that even in summer with temperatures around 65-70 F. Beach was great, very quiet even in high season with a daily view of seals just around the corner at the harbor entrance. Hardly used the (multiple) TV sets, just walked the beach, lived on the deck and read many books. The kids playing soccer on the beach or in the garage. Friendly neighboring families. Swimming pool in beach club more suited to small children, our children had a look but declined. Supermarket in Waldport well stocked, large Safeway in nearby Newport. Pet friendly house with some evidence of previous inhabitants. House right on a dune, so sand gets everywhere! But that is what we came for!"

"We stayed 2 weeks in Annie's house and can assure you that there is no way to get closer to the beach.
Great for long walks, whale sightings, bird watching. The weather was spectacular. Walport proved to be a very pleasant little town and the immediate area had lots to explore. A very restful stay. The house is comfortable and adequately supplied."

"We just recently stayed in this beautiful home. Did not want to leave. The home is well-kept, clean (and I am a clean freak), and very comfortable. We had chocolates and a bottle of wine on the counter when we arrived! WOW!
The view from the house and the back deck was amazing. A little chilly in the evening, so take some blankets if you want to sit outside and watch the sunset. The weather in July was a bit windy, but very comfortable. We had one amazing warm day with no wind (got a bit of a sunburn on the beach).
The stairs down to the beach were super easy (just 2 flights). Looked brand new. There was even a bench in the middle of the landings for those who may need to stop and rest.
The beach was not crowded at all. There is a public access very close, but there was not a lot of people on the beach. You could look down the beach at any given time and see less than 5 families spread out. That was very nice.
We brought our dog. She gave the house and beach a definite 5 paws. Loved every second of it. We left behind a doggy float toy to throw in the waves for any future pet pals.
Michelle was wonderful! She was on the spot with anything I asked her. Super friendly. We appreciated working with her.
For any future travelers:
The grocery store in Waldport has an awesome bakery/deli. We bought the best seafood salad and marionberry filled turnovers. They were so good, we bought some on our way home.
Great place to visit would be Newports Historic Bayfront. After you cross over the bridge, watch for signs on the right side of the road. Drive down the the Bayfront and park (you will have to luck into a spot for sure). There are lots of neat little souvenir, candy and even pet shops. Sea Lions hang out down there, so be prepared for a photo-op. You can also buy fresh seafood right off the boat! Don't forget to eat at Mo's. There is a bit of a wait, but good food. There are 2 Mo's. The Annex is right on the water and does not serve any type of deep fried food and the one across the street is not on the water, but serves deep fried food. You can also get your clam chowder to go and sit on the great benches on the pier. There are water dishes for dogs all over the place.
I hesitate to recommend this house only because I am worried that I will not be able to book it again when I want too! We will definitely be back!
Thank you Michelle!"
