  • Great experience and great location

"Stayed in the condo for two nights. My wife, myself and our three girls. The girls are between 8 and 2. The rooms have a good layout. The girls were excited to sleep in the loft. Mom and Dad's room was a separate room. The kitchen area was very useable and well stocked with glasses, bowls, flatware and other cooking tools. We had a couple of breakfasts, a lunch and a dinner there. The condo was very clean and well stocked for towels and pool towels. The condo was close to the pool and hot tub area. It was close to a playground and a large grass field to play ball and frisbee in. The condo was also very close to the river, several paths and downtown. I went for a nice early morning run. It was a great base for exploring Bend."

  • So Peaceful

"This house is beautifully decorated, clean, and has up to date construction. Walking in you feel instantly relaxed and pampered. The kitchen has great gadgets for cooking including our families favorite, the waffle iron. The great outdoor patio has comfortable chairs. We enjoyed sipping wine at sunset and looking at the beautiful view. We also really liked that the river (with well kept hiking trails) was basically in the house's back yard. The house's layout is perfect for families. There is an upstairs living room with games, a TV, and fold out bed that kids like to hangout in. The master suit is very spacious and has an incredible bathroom with large soaking tub that will melt your cares away. I highly recommend staying at this property."

  • Elegant, modern house in BEST location in Bend!

"My husband and I spent five days here over our anniversary in October. We've stayed in 4-5 house rentals in Bend and this has been the BEST, hands down. The location can't be beat - literally steps to the Newport Market, a 5-min walk to several of Bend's best restaurants and cafes (Chow, Backporch Coffee, trendy Spork), a 10-15 min walk to downtown and also to popular 10 Barrel brewery (and The Lot, a great pod of food trucks - with beer!), and a short drive to NW Crossing, which just opened a branch of one of our favorite bakeries in the entire world, Sparrow Bakery. It's also just a 5-10 min drive to gorgeous Shevlin Park which is filled with aspens and dog-friendly running/hiking trails. We ran there every morning. The house is just as incredible as its location. First, it's super eco-friendly and the architecture is unique. The materials are beautiful including the polished hardwood floors and the stone (river stone?) doorknobs. Second, the overall layout works really well for privacy and space if you are traveling with a large family or several couples. There are two levels and the staircase leading to the second floor divides the second level into two very separate areas - one with the MBR and HUGE bathroom and the second with two smaller but lovely bedrooms, a full bath and a washer/dryer. Third, the downstairs living area is very comfortable. The kitchen looks brand new, was fully stocked with everything we needed, and had lovely finishes and high-end appliances. It would be a great place to entertain. Finally, it seems very dog friendly (yeay!). We didn't bring our dog on this trip but would do so in the future. A lot of rentals are more what I'd call "dog tolerant" but this one seems truly "dog friendly". The only two downsides are the stairs (if you or your dog have any problems with stairs) and also that the yard is on the side and is small, though it is fenced in. There's a reserved parking spot (not really needed in Bend but appreciated) in the back and even though the house sits on busy Newport, noise was not a problem. The house does not have views. Brian, the owner, was great to work with - very responsive and friendly, so BEND! We especially liked that the house is keyless - we used a four digit preset code (that we chose) to enter the yard and the house. Overall ,we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to stay again on a future trip."

  • Great place to stay in Bend

"This house is spacious and a great place to stay in Bend. There were 2 families that stayed in the house over memorial wkend, (3 adults and 5 children) and there was still plenty of room to not feel crowded. We had fun while staying here, we had a baseball tournament so this house was in the perfect location and there are lots of stores that are close to the house in case you forget anything. We had fun and we would definitely stay here again. The detached unit was pretty cool, the 2 teenage boys stayed in there. To them it was like a studio apartment, they liked it. There is no backyard so if you are looking for a house with one you won't find it here but that didn't bother us at all. It was nice being able to spend the wkend in a house rental that is well kept up, Thank for Sherry for your beautiful home."
