  • Deer at the front door

"The location was wonderful, quiet peaceful and deer at the front door. There are some issues I would like to bring to your attention tho. First of all the towels smell musty and I think the reason is that they are in the washer for a period of time before they go into the dryer. That makes a difference. The oven does not work properly and is frustrating to operate. There were old coffee grounds in the coffee maker that someone forgot to dispose of. no tv, ok just was surprised. There was a pack of loose dogs from the neighbors down the hill that roamed around. Just wanted to mention that for people that have bring dogs with them. All my ranting, sorry but thougth you should know. All in all 3 1/2 stars and would defineately come back for another vacation stay. Thanks for the deposit, quick turnaround. Linda Perry""

  • Great place for a multi generational family

"We stayed at this house with our daughter and her husband and their two small children. The house was immaculately clean, very roomy, and quiet. There was a large family staying in the townhouse next door and I was a bit concerned about noise but we never heard a peep (it helped that they were very nice folks, I suppose). The thing I really enjoyed about the house, in addition to the interior amenities, is that it sits in a very nice subdivision on the edge of Sisters. We were able to go bike riding in safety with our eight year old granddaughter, swim in the community pool, and watch the sunset behind the Cascades from the small park near the house. The owners were terrific to deal with, particularly accommodating us on a holiday weekend at the last minute."

  • Relaxing getaway

"This large, well appointed home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is quiet day and night. Ideal for those who want to relax, unplug and unwind from urban or suburban life. My wife and I stayed for three weeks during the final phase of construction for our new home in Central Oregon. We played enough ping pong in the large game room that we are now buying the same table! Ample deck space nearly surrounds the house and is ideal for chilling out among the many tall trees on the property. This venue is one of the most comfortable homes we have rented in Central Oregon over the past 20 years."

Sisters Travel Tips

Do Not Forget Sisters Rentals for Some Family Fun

In Deschutes County, Oregon you will find the city of Sisters which is one of the state’s best-kept secrets. The town is aptly named for the Three Sisters Mountains which are just three of the mountains that can be viewed from many Sisters rentals during any season. By booking Sisters lodging, you are setting your family members up for the time of their lives! If you are considering Oregon travel for your next family trip, do not forget to stop in Sisters.

Sisters Lodging Lets You See It All

Though you cannot really see the entire world from the city of Sisters, you will certainly feel like you can. Sisters rentals allow for some majestic and breathtaking views, whether you looking at the mountains or hiking to their peaks. One sight not to miss is Black Butte. It will take about a day to hike to the top but the views across Central Oregon are second to none. Just do not leave your hiking boots and water bottles back at your Sisters lodging!

You Cannot Experience Oregon Travel without Camping

If you love to camp, Oregon travel is for you! Of course, you may not want to camp every night which is why you should book your Sisters rentals early. However, some of the best camping in the Pacific Northwest can be done in this region. Consider Camp Sherman along the Metolius River or the Deschuttes National Forest for some of the most scenic campsites. Many campsites are quite close to prime fishing locations as well, so do not forget your poles.

What about Sisters Rentals in the Winter?

Oregon travel is great for any time of year so when you pack up the kids and go, you do not have to worry about seasonal letdowns. Sure, the spring and summer are great times to book Sisters lodging, but the winter is not too shabby either. In the winter, once the snow falls, there is plenty of skiing to enjoy as well as snowboarding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. In fact, Hoodoo, off Highway 20, is a great place for the family to do some downhill skiing.

To make best of your vacation trip to the Central parts of Oregon you might want to consider additional destination and lodging options: Bend cabin rentals, Black Butte Ranch lodging, Eagle Crest rentals, Sunriver vacation rentals, or Willamette Pass accommodation.
