  • Just gemutlich!

"I stayed in this lovely cabin for a week in July with my pets. Mike was a kind and gracious host and very responsive to email and later by phone. The cabin sits on 10 acres in a community with other cabins and some year around residents. It sits about 10 minutes away from Sisters and about 20 minutes to Bend. There are homes on either side of the cabin. The closest home is situated forward on their property while the cabin is situated towards the back so you really can’t see or hear the neighbors. The other home is much further away and can’t be seen. The only thing that is visible is their horse corral. The property is very natural and is enjoyable to stroll in the morning and evenings. The cabin has two levels. The main living area with the kitchen and one bathroom is upstairs to take advantage of the lovely mountain views. There are 16 stairs from the front door up to the upper level. I mention this because the one of the previous review made it sound like it was outrageous and that’s not the case. The upstairs is very cozy with a TV and lots of games. The house is situated east to west so you can watch a lovely sunrise and beautiful sunsets. There are windows on all sides of the upper level with screens and a large slider to the amazing deck. There were NO bugs at all except an occasionally month. It was so comfortable; I almost never closed the door. My dogs enjoyed going in and out onto the deck during the heat of the day. They also enjoyed watching the jackrabbits and chipmunks. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, mixers and other things making it really pleasant and easy to cook. Only need to bring the groceries. The bedrooms are on the lower level with the outdoor shower and a half bath. It was always cool and comfortable down there during our stay. It was in the 90s on multiple days. There is also a washer and dryer on this level. The backdoor opens out to the outdoor shower and hot tub. My week’s stay at this cabin was restful and very enjoyable. I think it’s a great place for a weekend retreat or a base for exploring Bend, Sisters and the surrounding area. Mike is most helpful. If you are looking for a comfortable home away from home, this cabin is it."

  • Awesome!

"We stayed at this very nice cottage last week for five nights. The cottage was exactly as described and met our needs completely. We stayed with another adult couple and had everything we could possibly want at our fingertips. Many lovely evenings and mornings were spent on either the front porch or the back patio. Really clean and tidy facility, and stunning views from everywhere in the neighborhood. The owners and the concierge were great to work with and made us all feel very welcomed. We hope to stay here again!"

  • Fantastic Home!

"Highly recommend this beautiful home. The community was peaceful and quiet. Downtown Sisters is within walking distance and the view of the mountains was just stunning. The owners were warm and friendly upon booking. The home was organized and easy check-out instructions were much appreciated. We will be back!"

  • Relaxing getaway

"This large, well appointed home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is quiet day and night. Ideal for those who want to relax, unplug and unwind from urban or suburban life. My wife and I stayed for three weeks during the final phase of construction for our new home in Central Oregon. We played enough ping pong in the large game room that we are now buying the same table! Ample deck space nearly surrounds the house and is ideal for chilling out among the many tall trees on the property. This venue is one of the most comfortable homes we have rented in Central Oregon over the past 20 years."

Sisters Travel Tips

Do Not Forget Sisters Rentals for Some Family Fun

In Deschutes County, Oregon you will find the city of Sisters which is one of the state’s best-kept secrets. The town is aptly named for the Three Sisters Mountains which are just three of the mountains that can be viewed from many Sisters rentals during any season. By booking Sisters lodging, you are setting your family members up for the time of their lives! If you are considering Oregon travel for your next family trip, do not forget to stop in Sisters.

Sisters Lodging Lets You See It All

Though you cannot really see the entire world from the city of Sisters, you will certainly feel like you can. Sisters rentals allow for some majestic and breathtaking views, whether you looking at the mountains or hiking to their peaks. One sight not to miss is Black Butte. It will take about a day to hike to the top but the views across Central Oregon are second to none. Just do not leave your hiking boots and water bottles back at your Sisters lodging!

You Cannot Experience Oregon Travel without Camping

If you love to camp, Oregon travel is for you! Of course, you may not want to camp every night which is why you should book your Sisters rentals early. However, some of the best camping in the Pacific Northwest can be done in this region. Consider Camp Sherman along the Metolius River or the Deschuttes National Forest for some of the most scenic campsites. Many campsites are quite close to prime fishing locations as well, so do not forget your poles.

What about Sisters Rentals in the Winter?

Oregon travel is great for any time of year so when you pack up the kids and go, you do not have to worry about seasonal letdowns. Sure, the spring and summer are great times to book Sisters lodging, but the winter is not too shabby either. In the winter, once the snow falls, there is plenty of skiing to enjoy as well as snowboarding, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. In fact, Hoodoo, off Highway 20, is a great place for the family to do some downhill skiing.

To make best of your vacation trip to the Central parts of Oregon you might want to consider additional destination and lodging options: Bend cabin rentals, Black Butte Ranch lodging, Eagle Crest rentals, Sunriver vacation rentals, or Willamette Pass accommodation.
