  • Great Cozy and Clean House

"The house was very clean and cozy, very well equipped kitchen, good location. The only drawback for us was that the grill didn't work and the owner couldn't get the problem fixed. Other than that we were very happy."

  • Roomy with a great location!

"My family of 11 just spend a week here. The house worked out good for a large group. The kitchen is fully equipped, even though it is somewhat small . . . we enjoyed eating our meals out on the back deck. The beds were comfortable and there was baby equipment for my 6-month old grandson. Overall, we had a great time on Shamrock Lane. The house is roomy but could use a little TLC. We definitely got our monies worth, however."

  • Wonderful home for a family!

"We enjoyed this great home for over a week with our two small children. The location was fabulous; easy to find, bike paths were right out the front door, Fort Rock Park was an easy bike ride or walk, and it was close to the market. Kitchen is wonderful and large. The deck is completely enclosed so that the children could play out there without a worry. The bonus room off of the kitchen was stocked with kids games, books, and movies. The garage has everything you might need as well, including extra lawn chairs. We will most definitely be back to this home!"

  • Fabulous time

"Our family had a wonderful time in Sunriver. Our family gets together each summer in a generally central location. We've met in Tahoe, Shasta, the Redwoods, Santa Cruz, the Wallowas, to name a few. We all agreed this year's gathering was the most enjoyable. Just so much variety for everyone - golfing, fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, sightseeing, even shopping (in nearby Bend). We really appreciated the bicycles, SHARC passes and large hot tub and deck. The two master bedrooms were an extra bonus. When we arrived, the check-in was fast and simple, the house was spotless and everything was where it was supposed to be per the agreement. The towels in the bathrooms were folded as if for a hotel, which was a really nice touch. Two in our party were senior citizens, so we intentionally chose a single level home with as few stairs as possible. The wildlife was a great treat. The deer just pass right by you as if you're one of them. Each evening a covey of quail would run through the back yard as we sat on the deck. The homeowner was very easy to work with and responded to inquiries right away. We do plan to return to Sunriver and, hopefully, to this house."

Fort Rock Park Travel Tips

The Education Incentives: Fort Rock Park Cottages

History is to be discovered; nature is to be understood -- and few states provide more geologic diversity than Oregon. This destination (formed by volcanic eruptions, ocean recessions and tectonic shifts) is unlike any other; and tucked in its center is Sunriver. Families craving gentler experiences will find them in this unincorporated community, along with Fort Rock Park cottages: which provide easy access to the past and easier luxury.

Accommodating Accommodations: Fort Rock Park Vacation Homes

The best plans forever shatter on holidays. All desires to seek history are lost as soon as a hotel is entered -- with its stifling spaces and suffocating corners. Children become frustrated; you become anxious; and the day is ruined before it can truly begin. Fort Rock Park vacation homes offer a kinder alternative, however. Discover the necessary comforts within these rental units: which provide essential amenities like full kitchens and a surplus of rooms. No longer will you be forced to suffer crowded inches. All attention can be given instead to what waits beyond.

Oregon Revealed

Step into the past from Fort Rock Park cottages. Within Sunriver, families will find a wealth of educational activities. Visit the Nature Center, with its interactive exhibits (chronicling central Oregon) and botanical gardens. Explore the night sky at the Observatory, which features 11 state of the art telescopes that all guests can use. The Lava Lands Center charts out the evolution of the state and offers volcanic studies. The High Desert Museum informs its guests about local wildlife and endangered habitats. Your children will be fascinated by the cultural workshops. All of these are available just beyond Sunriver vacation rentals and will delight.

Sunriver Satisfaction

Fort Rock Park vacation homes offer more than mere convenience (though none could deny that). They instead provide gateways to history and all will be enchanted.
