"We had a GREAT time staying at your house. It was perfect for our family and visitors. We loved the big open kitchen space to both living room areas and the hot tub right off the kitchen area. The description and pictures were accurate-the house was very clean and fully stocked with kitchen items, cleaning supplies, bikes, towels. The beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning to start our fun. Wi-Fi and the waterpark passes was a good perk. We enjoyed the quiet environment of that side of Sunriver. This was our favorite house by far. The owner was very nice and responsive. Thank you for such wonderful accomodations."Guest: j&j Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 21, 2014View listing
"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice house, well equipped. Loft bed was not made up. Close proximity to train tracks was problematic overnight. Bike cart is broken. Night lights in bathrooms would be nice."Guest: A guest from Danville, CA Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 6, 2014View listing
"This is such a warm cozy home; it is in a quiet neighborhood near the village; we could bike to main town attractions with our whole family. The house has a variety of kitchen equipment for many kinds of tastes and needs. It also has a library of books/movies that my tween kids loved."Guest: summer visitor Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 30, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed at the Jackelope Cabin last week. It simply radiates with charm. We had to rent a place close to home, and this fit the bill! Love that it's pet friendly also. We grilled steaks and shrimp on the bbq one night and watched movies. We also got to watch a river otter the first night we were there. Very well stocked with everything you could want. Great place to get away and just relax. Just a short drive to Sunriver and the many lakes Central Oregon has to offer. That's why we love it here! We will surely be back soon! Other Sunriver Properties Travel Tips
A Summer Perfection: Sunriver Cottages
Centered within Oregon -- tucked along tectonic shifts and cinder cones, the echoes of volcanoes -- is Sunriver. This private community (established in 1942 as an army training base before eventually being redefined as a resort in 1969) is Deschutes County's most appealing attraction. Travelers seeking summer thrills will find them easily among the forest miles; but such thrills will be offered in grand style with Sunriver cottages. It will be a season of easy grins and easier comfort.
Adventures, Near: Sunriver Vacation Homes
It's an all too familiar scenario: you're craving the excitements of a town, want to experience all hours; but you're instead forced to endure the long miles. A hotel has trapped you far from your wanted adventures, makes you drive on and on until they can finally be found. This marks all days dull -- and Sunriver vacation homes wish now to ensure it doesn't happen again. These luxurious rentals (which offer spacious quarters and modern conveniences) keep you close to all pleasures. Distance will no longer be an enemy.
Attractions Await: Oregon
It's an all too easy thing to be tempted by Sunriver cottages -- their appeal is endless and their amenities are many. Just beyond them, however, is the sprawl of Deschutes Country and there's much to see. Explore the trails of Mount Bachelor. Let the Lava Lands Visitor Center educate you about the unique geology of Oregon. Seek out the 50,000 acres of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Find breathtaking sights along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. And travel from Sunriver vacation rentals to Crater Lake National Park for dramatic peaks and ponderosa forests. All days will thrill.
The Season of Ease
Sunriver vacation homes are the rare guarantees -- allowing all travelers (including you) to discover the pathways and ash-trails of Oregon. It's a summer experience that will not disappoint.
